Is web20mentor saying affiliate marketing is a scam?
I was a complete beginner in this field in late 2004, I hadn't got a clue about internet marketing in any sense - just a real desire to earn some cash online. I bought one ebook (google adwords 123) which described in detail how to become an affiliate, where & how to choose products and how to set up an adwords account etc. and within 3-4 months I was making a full-time living online (this month so far earnings are well over $4000). Yes it's true, it can be difficult (like starting any business) but it is entirely possible! you do need to select a reputable source for gaining the required information and knowledge (google perry marshall - excellent source of professional info).
Not everything is a scam nor is every 'paid for' product a scam - it's just difficult to sort the useful from the useless.

None of these are scams if you make money from them. I personally have made money and been paid with paid surveys, mlm, and affiliate marketing. Get rich ads can be a scam, but if you actually do your due dilligence before joining or investing in anything you will not get scammed.
I would also ad that expect to work and learn skills if you want to make any money on the internet. If you are not willing to do that you are only scamming yourself.
