merry christmas,
saw my headline .... my first question, why would a man earning whatever the huge figure is ( here a million $ /month) sell an ebook for $49....
yes, he will earn a million by selling that ebook only...
but sadly and very sadly , people buy that magic button and hope to be rich .. ( i have also been fooled twice )
the magic button is (YOU ) thats it.. we are our magic button , when we agree to work hard , by doing one thing completely from A to Z
then surely success will slowly come....
important ... i said following one thing from A to Z
if one wants to do affiliate marketing : so be it ; lets choose one promising product in which one truly Believes that will provide value to people and commit yourself to promote it and take it to as much people as possible.
then success is guaranteed , ... instead of jumping from one technique to other and one opportunity to another ... and buying all these get rich programs....one should focus on working hard and walking the full path A->Z.
Believe it or not, thats the fastest way to achieve success. when one truly decides to work hard, things become a lot more easier and faster...
as the business strategist Rich Schefren says : the big secret of making money is .... there is no secret... all that matters is hard work and commitment to one thing at a time..
any way lets make this new year resolution.. and yes do shoot me a reply here and your views...

I agree with your point on putting the work. That's why soooooo many people sell ebooks, they know there will always be a market for a product promising untold riches for no effort. What really sux about that is the people with good, solid products pretty much need to use the same sales tactics to maximize their own profits.
When someone first sets out to try to make money online, the most important thing to do first is take stock of what their resources and needs are.
If you have a $100,000 budget to start, you can outsource every step of the project and use PPC and other advertising to pretty much get a project up and making LOTS of money overnight.
If you have a couple thousand dollars and some basic skills, you can get a project up and running and making SOME money pretty much overnight.
If you have zero money and zero skills, at the very best, you are probably several months away from making any money worth mentioning.
This is assuming, no matter which level you start at, you are willing to put the effort into starting a successful online business.
I also agree with your point about concentrating on one facet of marketing. If you have zero skills, the best application of your time and whatever budget is learning to write effectively. Written communication is the cornerstone of everything that happens on the internet. That's the biggest thing about new people coming into the industry, they may be perfectly capable of communication in the physical world, but writing doesn't allow you to make the nonverbal innuendo that physical contact does.
Take for example: I can walk up to a woman I've never met and say, "Wow, you are uuuuuuugly...".
This doesn't make her mad, because from my body language, she knows I don't mean it. When it comes to written communication, you don't have that. What you write is what you communicate - period.
Bottom line, for anyone getting started, the very first thing and the thing that's most important forever is learning to write effectively. Everything flows from that.
You write ads.
You write articles.
You write emails.
You write web site content.
Learn to do it well, then worry about building traffic or optimizing landing pages, or anything else to do with internet marketing.

you got it right, with money power one can easily manipulate everything, they can hire some copywriters and even buy lots of traffic... and manipulate the online business.
your communication tip is so true.. people just dont know how to write and communicate their true feelings, or else things could have been so better.

well but believe it or not, ebooks promising fake stuff like this will continued to be sold and people will continue to buy and be fooled..
