I sell work at home products (although I avoid 'data entry' type products which are very misleading) and also anti-virus/anti-spyware. A secondary income is from the google adsense ads on my sites which earn me around $50 a day.

biggles,
Welcome to the forum. I have some adsense on a blog but haven't had much luck. What is the secret of making an income from Adsense? Would you care to share?
Thanks, Becky

Hi westfam11
If possible, you want to have adsense inserted around your content if possible, this has greatly increased my adsense CTR (which for October averaged 12.45%). In fact, improvements to my site were made in conjunction with Google as they invited me to take part in an 'optimisation' program - they examined my site and made recommendations which I implemented for a set period to test CTR etc.
Also worth considering is the keywords within your content, this can have a big impact on the type of ads and the revenue from those ads that Google will serve up on your site so you need to try experimenting and changing individuals words etc. and then see if things improve.
Like everything in online marketing, you need to test, test, test!!

aplina,
Welcome. I see you use SBI, too.
I love your template. Did you design that? I don't recognize it as one of the pre-made choices. Anyway, it looks like you've got a good start to your site. How long have you been at it?
Enjoy the forum.
