What do you think will be the hottest markets for affiliate marketers over the next 3 - 6 months for physical products?
One market that I think will do very well is snow skiing equipment, unless, of course, there is a snow drought. I don't think it will be the top market, but I think sales are going to do very well.
What other markets or products do you expect to do well in the next 3 - 6 months that affiliate marketers can promote? Remember, Christmas is right around the corner...

That is an interesting question. It is good to see you are planning ahead.
I'm not taking on any new markets in the next few months myself, but the last time I was interested in doing some research regarding that question, I looked in some consumer magazines, like Response. They have a site too at responsemagazine.com Anyway, they listed the popularity reports for internet searches, etc.
You could also look at Google's list. I can't think what it is called off the top of my head, but they list the top 100 search terms, etc. Perhaps you could run a check on these same months last year and it might give you a heads up.
All the best.

Weight loss. Winter time is coming, and with it the diet pill rampage.

cmartel,
While I agree that diet pills are always a hot seller, I would think that they would slow down over winter as everyone is bundling up, and then kick up again in spring when people are contemplating summer clothes and the bulge they gained over the winter months.

getagrip,
As you mentioned, it's the holiday season for the next three months. Anything that sells for winter and the holiday season will be big. Gift cards, electronics, perfume, jewelry, winter clothing, toys, etc.
I hope that gets your engine started:)

TRAVEL is a BIllion dollar industry for a long time and will continue to be one of the most popular industry, and the hottest market is the Travel club market, especially 4-5 star luxury resorts and be able to get them for $298 a week to $699 a week max. I have been in the travel industry for over 12 years and I see it grow each year, as a travel agent I cant compete with travel clubs so I dont fight them I joined them
Because you don't have to be a travel agent to sell a membership.

The holiday season is here and online shopping is all I can do because I'm on house arrest. Well that has to be the number one place to make money right now. It's a no brainer to me that if you can capture even a small percentage of the hundreds of billions of dollars that are being spent online you'll be eating at Spago's, Driving a Mercedes and Wearing Gucci, Hello!
Ps: My attorney sucks!!!

My sales tend to pick up in December and peak in January.

If you are marketing diet pills then I would think that you must have a large base of clients to be making money. Is it an MLM buiness?
If it is not MLM how did you build your client base and how long did it take?

Rich,
Excellent tips and I agree. It's easy to monetize on resolutions. We also have a nice series of holidayz coming up: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, NewYears Eve & Day. You can cash in on it every year.
Anyone know of a free tutorial series on setting up a profile and monetizing on Squidoo, MySpace, FaceBook, Yuwie, CraigsList, and the like?
I think that would help a lot of folks out who have been thinking about doing one or more of the above.
