I am a newly unemployed mother of 3, college educated and tired of the corporate rat race. I dream of a legit work from home opportunity with real $ and low start-up costs. Can anyone give me some really good leads?
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hey Janine-
Thanks for putting your question out here. I hope we can assist you in finding something that will work well for you
Before I give any recommendations, I think it would be wise if we knew a little bit more about your situation.
1- It depends on your personality, and current financial position whether you would need a home business, or a JOB first. (you said you're recently unemployed, yet want out of the corporate rat race)
If the stress of spending money before you have money coming in doesn't bother you, and you don't feel the need of that "guaranteed paycheck" you should be fine emotionaly IF you start a business that truly has quick income potential. (I would NOT suggest starting any MLM without a job. It usually takes too long to see good money, and will put a lot of stress on your situation)
As far as your financial situation is concerned.... (and don't feel you need to answer here unless you want to, but do a self assesment)
-How long can you go (based on your current expenses) before you absolutely NEED money coming in? - How much money on top of that would you have for start up? Marketing? - How much time do you have, and do you have any marketing experience?
All of this will play a factor. Despite all the "Do Nothing, Earn Millions In Your Underwear" claims online. Starting any business will take some of your time, money and energy.
And even with those three, you'll need a good mentor to help you along the way.
Let me know if this was helpful, and we'll see what we can find for you from there.

Hi MUM
Welcome to the forum
I would be happy to share with you a few of the programs we belong to. You may find that we have exactly what you are looking for. I cannot share that kind of info here but always make myself available to people who are serious about starting something of their very own. A one on one with you could save alot of time in finding the right business opportunity.
Message me to set up an appointment to meet briefly over the phone.

Welcome Jnwalla18 ! If you do not have much money to invest, you can start with a work at home job initially.

I'm so new to this that I haven't picked a business. I have heard about Income4Beginners and Cash Affiliates ... they cost about $40 to start which is about what I can afford. Feedback anyone or is it too late? sylviey

Janine.......I'm a mother of 3 also! I would suggest checking out the signatures of other members, it's amazing what you'll find. For instance, in my signature, the first link is something that might interest you. It's been amazing for me, the amount of signups I'm getting daily is great, which is building my other business, which is my second link, they work hand in hand! Plus, there's alot of support on how to advertise. Check it out if you want and if you have any questions, feel free to PM me. Good luck to you!

You could look into doing customer service from home or being a virtual assistant. What are your hobbies? What are you good at? Look to what you already know and see if you can't make money from that.

Hi Guys and welcome to the forum,
Internet marketing can really be a very good source of income but it all depends on how much time you are willing to learn and how much work you are willing to give.
Stay away from programs that offers to give you "everything" in a silver platter. If you want this to be your business then "make it your business". Gauge yourselves on how much you are willing to offer and brace yourselves for the work to be done.
Good Luck! Work Hard, Play Hard!

I use the Ultimate Wealth Package. That's a good one,
You can do some research on it.

You can check the links in my sig but other than that I really think that affiliate marketing may be a good idea.
You need to find an affiliate site such as click bank or paydotcom and sign up
You then choose a program from a list that interests you and you are given a link.
That link becomes your promotion ID for that program.
Take that link and start posting it where you think it would be worth while. Don't spam but find a forum, blog or create a website about it.
When somone clicks your link they are brought to the sales page of the program you chose. If they buy it you get a commission.
What I did was create a couple of websites. I am a web designer so it was a lot easier for me but even if you use a page builder you can still earn income.
If you create a website or blog or anything like that. Get it out their to the web. Use digg.com or stumble to bookmark it and your on your way.
Im pretty sure you are a little confused but its an option to look into. maybe buy an e book or something to learn about affiliate marketing and get started.

You can do your research for the ultimate Wealth Package at this link from this forum here:

A lot of people who responded to the forum thread indicated that the Ultimate Wealth Package is HORRIBLE and wanted refunds - based on that information, I'd stay away from it.
Having said that, if you are looking for a GOOD program to get involved with, here is a thread from this forum on Wealthy Affilaite:

I work at home as a medical transcriptionist. There is training involved, but it is the same as going to school to learn a new trade. This is a legitimate job with flexibility and great pay. MT work is a regular job that you can do in a hospital or doctor's office, or at your home. If you are interested in MT work, check out these articles about getting started in the MT field and how much money you can make.

I would check out Work At Home Moms - www.WAHM.com where they post both real jobs along with business opportunities. They are a very legitimate resource for this.
