Hi, the gist of the situation is that I want to be able to live in Spain and I have an internet connection and laptop out there and am wondering what job can I do from my home in Spain or if anyone knows of any job which I could do. I am highly computer literate and would settle for practically anything within reason which I can earn a nice enough income to live in Spain off of. Any replies I would be grateful of.

Hi Jay,
As long as you have a computer and internet, you could build yourself an online business from practically anywhere in the world - Spain included.
Why not build a website about something you know and love. There are lots of ways to market just about any subject or idea. You could even build a site about the part of Spain in which you plan to live. Perhaps write about the best restaurants, the best hotels, the scenic spots that are must-see for tourists, etc. There is a whole realm of possibilities.
The thing you won't be able to do is make money overnight. Do you have a way of earning a bit of money until your online business takes off? That could take a few months to a couple of years depending on how much time and effort you can spend on it and how great a demand there is for your niche.
The potential is there - you just have to be willing and able to go for it. There is a link to SBI in my signature. Take a browse around there and see if you get inspired. I did and am thrilled with what I have accomplished so far.

Start a WordPress blog with a theme you have a passion for or an expertise in. Then develop that into a money making blog by adding products and programs that pay you commissions. This is a long term strategy that will allow you to live in Spain or anywhere and make money. At least it is doing that for me!

You could freelance writing , translation or online English teaching jobs , timings are flexible

I recently found some sites that pay you, and the sites are well layed out, for doing things like joining other sites, do surveys, etc.
They pay well.

Have you investigated a business in travel? I don't know why you want to go to Spain, but my guess is you like to travel and seeing new things. You can do Coastal Vacations from anywhere in the world, and since we use a Call Center, it can help with any inbound calls.
Also, economically speaking, it is a good time for Europeans to come to the states, so you can consider selling travel packages and receiving commissions. This is just another way to earn money in the multi trillion dollar travel industry.
Travel has many different ways of making a living from anywhere in the world. If you love travel, perhaps it is a route you should consider. Send me a PM if the travel industry appeals to you. There are many options.
