Hi, I have been searching the net on how to make some extra money from home not a full time job, I'm a bit skeptical about those adds where you can make a full time living out of it. What has been your experience with actually making money from home online?

There are many legit jobs available with no joining fee, but you need to be willing to work hard.

There are plenty of people making money online. There are also plenty of people trying and failing. You have to wade through the information to make sure you make an educated decision. If you are just starting to look, it will take some time to decide what you are able to do and what you can picture yourself doing. Click on our signature links here on the forum to see what we are doing. Also, we are all real people so call us.
In the beginning, in order to be successful, you will need to work hard as pcwork says. You will have to learn the ropes so to speak. You should make sure you get in with a group that has a great support system and won't leave you flat once you join - no matter what opportunity you choose.
It is not always easy, as some ads lead you to believe. But you have to make a committment.

Do the research first on the opportunities out there? Many are scams but there are a few out there that are legitimate. But like anything out there, you have to work hard...even if it is in your pajamas!!! So be careful and make sure it is something you are willing to invest a lot of time and money...if that's the case...into whatever opportunity you decide.

Noreen and pcwork are both right. There are several ways to make extra money online and if anyone tells you all you have to do is plug into there system then sit back and watch the money roll in.
Well they're lying! Plain and simple.
With any business there is always work to be done.
Once you learn your trade the work gets easier and then more profitable.
So find something you will enjoy and go for it!!
Dig in and do your research before you start any adventure!

Working at home is possible but it takes a lot of time and effort. Profit lance, average joe, and honest riches, are the ebooks I recommend starting out with.

Breeze,
The first thing you need to do is find something that you can believe in and will enjoy doing.
After that search out someone who is successful and then I advise giving them a call and make sure that they will take the time to help and mentor you along the way.
Then dig in and go to work and you will like the results!

I agree that you need to find something that you love and enjoy.
Then it doesn't feel like work at all.
But as everyone stated, be very careful about the opportunities you pick. There are a lot of people out there who sell you on outrageous claims and then hang you out to dry.
I love fitness, so I knew I would be right at home with an opportunity in health and wellness.
Just think about what you enjoy and then seek legitimate opportunities in that field.

Working from home is a reality, but it isn't the effortless, automated process that many people say it is. It has become big business for many of these "gurus" to write outrageous sales letters that can't be delivered on, and then watch the numbers.
You have to learn the ropes, implement what you've learned, and practice a bit to get things right, but after that it gets easier. And as the forum members mentioned above, having someone who will answer your questions and help you through the things you don't understand is of vital importance. Great support is key.

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie at internet marketing but have been in the sales & marketing business for 20 years. I've made many websites for companies out there but I'm having a problem...I have a website that's generating lots of traffic but hardly any sales. I sell affiliate products but can't seem to get people to buy them...any suggestions?

tired of scams - from what I understand the difference between being in sales and marketing and selling on the internet is that with internet affiliate marketing you need to presell, not sell. Give the reader a helpful article and then at the bottom say, are you intrigued? Then check out this ebook..." Using sales tactics won't work. Try article marketing to promote the site.

I see you are promoting adword elite, and ultimate wealth package on your site. Have you tried writing articles about these products and submitting them to article directories? Write an article for each of the products you are promoting on your site, link back to your site at the bottom of each one, and after a few weeks you'll start to notice that people will use your articles on their site, giving you free backlinks, and your site will soon get better rankings in the search engines and more traffic.

I would definitely agree with makemoneyonline that this will be a great way to drive traffic and ultimately convert sales.
I recommend doing an article/day for 30 straight days on different topics and see what results you get.

Article marketing is a terrific way to get free targeted traffic and you can also get familiar with Pay Per Click to get lots of traffic and therefore more sales.
