I'm new to the many work at home possibillities out there. I am a very skeptical person and am wondering a few things. Firstly... Every single site I look at (which has been mostly data entry sites) seem like complete scams. They are top ranked on google and when you type in "data entry scams" on google sites always have come up saying how 99% of data entry jobs online are scams and then they reccomend three that work and are probably all from the same company. They all seem to follow the same basic format to me. Show expensive luxury items on the front, capitalize on peoples hate for their jobs and miserableness of living pay check to pay check. I really don't honestly think that there are any companies that are legit. I would like some proof and now just some picture of a check that could be easily photo shopped. Also going by my trust nobody (especially online) instinct i have another question. The signatures of many members of this forum have a work at home link ... How am i supposed to trust somebody who says "oh... this one isnt a scam...click the one i use in my signature"
Well this topic turned more into a rant but seriously.... I would love it if somebody gave me some more info on this stuff and the legitimacy of it all. Maybe somebody who isnt promothing their own work at home scheme.

I was also a very strong skeptic when it came to the "work at home" or "make money online" world. It's true that almost every corner you turn their is a scam rat waiting to pounce (if rats pounce)!

Anyway, I can understand your frustration of it all and actually you've come to the right place to discuss your concerns. I'm not about to convince anyone of anything because I've learned in the past that can be a big waste of time.

But rather I encourage you to do as much research as you can on an opportunity that you're thinking of pursuing, then once you feel that it's "the one" than go with your gut feeling.

If there are specific opportunities that you're concerned about, list them on in this forum and I'm sure someone will have some sort of info or comment on it.

Here's a quick read on data entry jobs you might find interesting:

Not sure if admin will allow the link but I thought it may be useful to you.
