Hey,

My names greg, been looking at the work at home experience for a while, but not had much success at it. Tried a ebay selling scheme of reselling ebooks on ebay, after a while i had to give this up as the money i was making was even to the money i was spending on the auction listings. So after 1 1/2 months at that i have given it up and am also looking for somehting new, i have tried the surveys but haven't had much success with that.

So besides these options what legitimate ways are there at working at home with someone who is motivated but doesn't have a bank to put behind his efforts. I would be looking to earn at least close to full time wage, maybe not in the first day but realisticly within the first month i would like to be making a reasonable salary as i am having trouble supporting myself now as it is, one month of delays to yield no profits would surely put me in a bitter position. I would be most interested in actual jobs online, but having trouble finding anything of the sort.

My actual skills are limited when it comes to website creation, but i am a fast typer and definetely motivated to succeed in any venture and will definetely give it my all but would preferabbly give it my all to something which wont end me up regretting i did in a month from then (Damn ebooks :P). I would like a safer route this time if there is any?? Sick of the gambles i've made so far

Well any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks very much in advance,
greg

If you are looking for ideas, check out my post from this forum:

http://www.work-at-home-forum.com/9_2685_0.html

The post doesn't go over any specific work from home ideas, but it does show you how I found LOTS of ideas in a short amount of time - and beleive it or not, it DOES NOT involve doing an internet search...

You can also take a stab at affiliate marketing and learn things like Google Adwords, which involves promoting affiliate programs online through pay per click adverising mediums. Please note, however, that you don't HAVE to pay for traffic to make money online - there are free methods of online marketing which you CAN make money from.

Hi Greg,

If you go through the forum here and click on people's signatures, you'll get lots of suggestions and then you can check things out to see what would work for you.

I tried several different ways to make money from home for a few years and finally found the answers I was looking for. You can do it, and when you finally do you'll feel great knowing it can be done.

Hope that helps!
Dana

If you are a fast typist, you should apply to transscription companies, a few do not require any prior experience.

Hey Greg! My name's Kim and, like you, I have wondered how I could put my computer to work for me a few hours per week. (I even hesitated buying a home computer for several years because I knew I would "play" vs doing anything really productive!! If you search for "home-based businesses" or work at home opportunities, like I did, you will find plenty of links to explore. Check them out before committing to anything. I definitely found one that I finally felt was worth checking into. Good luck!!

Have you tried applying for a work at home job? There is a list of companies in the telecommuting section of my website. These are actual companies not systems. You need to apply, interview etc. If you have good computer skills you should be able to get on with one of them.

Greg,

My best advice to you would be this...Don't sell any product you wouldn't use yourself or wouldn't benefit others.

Alot of times we get caught up in only the monetary benefit, which is find and dandy. But several months down the road when sales aren't so hot we're looking for the back door!

When you get involved with something that you truly believe in, your tolerance level will be that much stronger. You're not just selling any old product! You're selling a practical solution to someone's emotional problem. And you believe that!

Also, I know this is not what you wanted to hear but there will be risks involved. Everything has risks. Especially if you're looking to make a full time salary on the net, you'll have to realize that there will be some sort of financial commitment on your end. Of course those boundaries are going to have to be set by you. But that's the beauty about working from home. You're the boss!

All the best!

I am ording Internet Speedway, and I read some of the comments. I would like to know if this is a good investment for a person who need to earn extra money on the side. So if anyone who have tried this company for more than three or months have done well so far, can you please be honest with me and share your experience. I am a serious minded preson, and I take what I decide to do very seriously. Also if you tried this company and did not do so well please notify me and tell me truthfully what you have experienced with Internet Speedway. I need to know the truth, and nothing but the truth. Thanks, Claudimo

If you do a quick google you can find a lot of threads about them.. Just from a quick glance at the their website Im not sure I understand what the advantage is? You can set up a website on your own, you can join affiliate companies like shareasale, cj and linkshare to access products for free and you can use a number of different places for submitting to directories and search engines for free.. what do they give you that you can't get on your own?

Its good that you are motivated to succeed, because if you want to start your own work at home business, motivation is definitely something you have to have in order to succeed! I am making a very nice income from home and If I can do it, so can anyone else! If you aren't very good at creating websites, maybe you should have a look at www.bluevoda.com. You don't need any knowledge about html, its very easy to create websites with this company. Its free.. all you have to pay for is hosting. You can have a website set up in no time at all!

Greg and Mishi, take your time looking for the right online job. There's tons out there and you don't want to lose your money on something that might not work out for you. I hope you find what you're looking for. I know I did and I'm glad. I get a chance to stay home with my grandson and I love it!

Guidance is definitely the key Hemjoe! (And Im talking about every aspect in my life!) But especially with how tricky the web can be with making money, I think every beginner definitely needs to be guided until they know all the tricks and loop holes....

Anna... I've heard a lot about your WAH business. What is it that you do, exactly? I'm interested in it, but I'm not sure what you do, if there's not selling etc.

Thanks for your help.
