I have a free directory that I am considering changing to a PAID directory.

If you have a PAID directory of your own, how do you justify the submission fee when so many others are free?

Thanks,

If your directory has enough traffic and external links, you can show how cost effective it is compared to PPC and other forms of advertising

Another tip - make sure to get your directory listed on all of the directory submission lists and within the directory submission software (contact the vendor).

I think that having 2 levels (free + paid togother) is nice as opposed to a all paid directory. Just my .02
