If you like drawing or painting, you can always try to throw some drawing or paintings together and sell them on ebay. If you want to get an idea for how much your stuff might sell for, just do a completed listings search on ebay, and that will give you a general idea of whether or not your stuff will sell, and what kind of starting prices to ask for.

:):)Thats excellent Flatlander. At leats half your battle is won. Some people on the other hand dont have a certain hobby that they can implement on the internet. There are a whole lot of stuff you can do for example create a website dedicated to drawing and stuff etc. You just have be creative. And all have you have to do is get people to come over and visit your site.

Hi and welcome to this forum: why don't you start a Blog that will allow you to be creative and earn money by selling advertising space like google adwords. This will allow you to indulge and you might even start a paint blog....gee should maybe try that myself
Anyway let your creative juices flow and write down a list of your likes and dislikes as well as your strength and interests. That will soon determine for you were you are headed. Good luck and remember to have fun

Hi Flatlander,
I too am a very creative person and it is so fun being able to do what you love and make mon ey at it! I tried mlm for a year but it was just getting too expensive for me and the co. west through some chages which included quotas. As a stay at home Mom of two boys I don't do quotas! lol! So last year I decided to try doing customized Santa letters and I did pretty good with it. I have since decided to not only do it again but have also added my hand paited garden signs to my site and joined a couple other co's that were free and I can passively market them. I am also in the process of coming up with additional letters for other holidays, tooth fairy and Mother's day poems which I will add to my site later on. I am going to try doing a Christmas bazaar also which wil be my first. The key to doing anything is to be consistant and just keep your mouth open.I built my own website. I market online via forums, free ads and offline with flyers and word of mouth. I also have all the people who ordered last year as repeat customers this year. The most important thing for me is I am doing what I love. I've been artistic since I was born and I'm sure you know how important that "creative outlet" is to us! If you have any questions about doing the letters or what is involved in it I will be glad to start you on your way and it won't cost you anything to talk to me. I can tell you what supplies you would need and where to get them and also the secret to the North Pole postmark!

2reasonswhy .. i checked out your site and i think it's awesome .. my girlfriend is very very artistic but with her full-time job she's been really frustrated because she can't find the time for that "creative outlet" nor does she necessarily have time to figure out what she wants to do with that outlet .. she kicked around the idea of greeting cards but never got to it because she didn't really have a solid idea .. she loves kids (and the holidays lol) and i think she'd really like this custom santa greeting card and would be something she can put her own touch on .. id appreciate it a lot if you can give me a little more info on how you got started etc we'd both GREATLY appreciate it .. thanks in advance

ps pls email me at [email protected]

Well if drawing and artwork is your forte. Start a blog about this very subject look into having your artwork placed onto promotional products for sale. Cafepress is one site where you can do this at. Once you have learned enough about placing your artwork on products you can then offer to design logos, pictures, and other creative things for companies or groups. Up and comign musicians and bands are a great source for this kind of contractual work. However they rarely have much in the line of money to pay you with so I would offer to do the artwork in exchange for a perpetual royalty fee on all products using the said artwork.
