The link I posted was for payments made through Clickbank. You said you made payment through Paypal. How did you get the refund acknowledgement? Did you filed a refund request through Paypal also?

I signed up with them also. It's not a scam, but it's not what I thought it would be. They give you info on how to place ads, you enter the data/ads and they share the profit. However, I already knew how to place ads, so I asked for a refund through clickbank, and they did email me back stating they were processing it.

Quoting: wendyladi98 I joined this program a few weeks ago misunderstanding what it really was. They offer a 45 day money back guarantee, but after e-mailing them 12 times and being insulted and then ignored, I have yet to get any satisfaction. I have come to mistrust any and all of these online work at home companies. I would be very interested if any of you have conections to the better business bureau or any connections that might help me get my money back. Their money back guarantee is false advertisement!
Wendy,
Don't give up hope on all work at home programs. I know from experience, that their are some legit companies out there that don't ask for "money up front".
I have only been online since June 05 and have learned a whole lot in the past months.
When I first started out, I signed up at so many different WAH sites that I had my inbox getting hundreds of emails a week.
That's when I decided to go a different route. I went to the forums, just like you. I didn't do anything for a month or two but read the forums.
Then I started my own website, started writing articles and signed up for a few affiliate programs.
If your interested in reading the article I've written on how I got started on the interent, go to my site and in the article catagory, read "Follow that Guru" and "You've Got Your Guru, Now What"? Hopefully that will give you the nudge you need and will help you get started working from home.
Continued Success

WARNING Do not get involved in Hometypers they are a scam and is out to get your money of 97.00 fee. I just read a statement on this forum. she is absolutely right in what she wrote. I paid the 97.00 dollars fee. I got to their website and began the search. I got to the sites but couldn't find the forms to fill out. When you get to the sites some of these charge to register in which Hometypers didn't tell you. I got discouraged about this Hometypers and I asked for my refund. They tell you they will give you a refund but they didn't keep their word on their add. again WARNING ...if they do not give you a phone number or address and easy contact information.....I would say they are absolutely a scam and a robber.

MM Higame the bible says out of the mouth of two or three witness is anything established. Think about it to many here on this forum has been ripped off including me. I will never get involved with any home base business that don't have a contact a phone or address and able to call better business bureau. If I would have found this forum before I gave my 97.00 dollars it wouldn't have never happened. I also sent hometypers several request to refund my money and no help and hidden cost etc. I suggest you get out while you can wouldn't work for others who is in deception. Warning to you.

Hometypers.com is NOT necessary a scam and let me tell you why..
#1 First of all it is stated on their website it is not an offer of employment and is not traditional typist job.
#2 It is also clearly stated on their site that you'll be typing ads on PPC (pay per click) forms for products on clickbanks catalog. If you read their frequently asked questions page, they'll tell you that you'll be required to open an adwords account for $5 and be charged 5 cents per click for your ads that run in the search engines.
#3 They also have a terms and conditions page on their site you should read before ordering. You should always read all terms and conditions before investing in any opportunity! If there is something you do not understand you should contact the company. If you do not get a response then do not invest in the opportunity!
The problem is majority of people will order a program online and NOT fully read and understand what they're getting their selves into. What many people have is what I call the
"I want to believe syndrome" Many people that order this program want to believe it is a "work at home employment job" but in reality the site clearly states it is NOT an employment offer. You should NEVER pay anyone for an employment offer! What this company is offering is a "business opportunity". That is the main difference. Remember before investing in any opportunity always ask for full terms & disclosures before investing. If you do not get a response, then company is probably not worth joining!
I always ask many questions and read all terms and conditions (if any) before joining any business venture

Kinswoman more people usually post negative reviews on companies rather then positive things. After reading jonnybeegood's post out of curiosity I read the hometypers.com website. After briefly reading the content on the site, right off the bat I can tell it has to do with promoting clickbank products through adwords. Nothing wrong with that, however they could have been a little more clear so people would understand what they're getting. The site could be vague to any newbie that is looking for a get rich quick scheme. I have been around the Internet since 2001 so I know all about affiliate marketing and PPC (pay per click) programs.

To Vishal: I couldn't find the homtypers area to share this. You gave informatoin on the forum about ClickBank to get your refund back of 97 dollars. If you got your information when you purchased hometypers you will get your refund back. I did and will in the future wait and search more before I leep out. thanks for your forum to share information. I wouldn't have got the refund back not knowing how till you posted the information.

Vishal,
Thanks for the information for getting your money back. I just submitted my information to Clickbank for a refund.
To everyone else,
I paid the $97 and was very disappointed by the presentation of the information. I already knew I wouldn't get my money back so I went through all the steps laid out as best I could. I made my first commission today (less than a month)! I haven't broken even yet, but it is obvious to me now that the system will work. The information presented is not worth the $97, but it is not a scam either. It does cost extra money to get started, but with enough dedication and patience, I believe it will pay for itself many times over. It is boring and tedious researching new products and developing "ads" for them. Through Google Adwords and Clickbank alone, you can get all of the information for free that I paid $97 for. However, I would never have known that if I had not have paid the $97. So, if you have any interest in trying to make some additional cash (it will cost some money up front) then take the time to read the materials from Google and Clickbank and just do it.

Hi, I just registered with hometypers last week. They have an AOL address as I do, so I can see the status of my emails to them. I've sent them 2. Both have been deleted. I don't know if anyone has already said this as i have only read a few of the postings, but I thought I would let you know. I'm going to give it a chance, and if it doesn't work I'm going to ask clickbank for a refund. I posted my first adwords ad today. I looked under one of my keywords and millions of adverts came up. I will be very surprised if anyone sees mine. This might not be a question for this thread, but does anyone know how to improve ad positioning, is it something you can pay for?

I heard that all email processing and most data entry jobs are scams. Some MLMs work and others don't. In general never pay for anything.. unless it's a bargain! What I mean is never pay someone to give you a job.. but if you find a really good business, with an honest approach and some feasible products, then you should expect to make a small investment.... but CHECK IT OUT FIRST and if you do signup with an MLM do expect to do a little work and not to become a millionaire overnight without putting some effort in.
Best data entry jobs are freelance ones... why do it on behalf of someone else when they will reap the benefits without doing the work?

This company is the biggest RIP-OFF I've ever encountered! I, too, paid the $97, like a fool, and have NEVER gotten a reply back when I've asked for the refund. I'd like to report them to someone, and I've kept all the transactions/correspodence for proof of the money-back guarantee, etc. I finally found a work at home job that I really love! I'm glad I didn't get discouraged and kept looking. I now am part of a business that has no risk, is 100% money-back guarantee, and doesn't ask for money just to give you information! Good luck on your search. If anyone knows a way to get your money back from these jokers, PLEASE let me know!

Thanks a million or at least $49 dollars worth. I was almost ready to put the credit card numbers in and said...Buyer beware....
Reading all the posts there seems to be a lot of us ready and capable to work from home. Any fortunate findings yet?
Thanks again

My friend was scammed by HomeTypers.com too and there was one more she tried Data Entry Pro or something. It didn't work for obvious reasons.
I know this forum says no self-promotional links, but if any of you want to know how to get your money back, please contact me. You will not be asked to pay me or anything, but I just want to help you like I helped my friend.
When I first started out, a lot of nice people helped me learn to design websites and about internet marketing. I'm just trying to pass it on to others. It's so sad that a small percentage of bad websites make people think that the Internet is just a huge scam and you cannot make money online.

Chris have you actually tried this system out and has it worked for you??? or are you by chance one of the founders...if you are one of the founders as you can see your program has not been for everybody. If you are not one of the founders and you have tried this program well tell us your success story cause if there is an actual success story with this site I really want to hear it
and I don't know of a legit home based business where you can make 1000's a day I must say if one exists please oh please someone let the rest of us in on it will yas

I think a lot of our frustrations (mine included) come from high expectations that I put on a new opportunity. Many times when I finally stop to breath I realize that I anticipated one thing and received another. Often I will see an ad for a new "work at home" opportunity and just jump before asking. And, while the opportunity is real and people are making money from it I find out it is just not for me.
So, I guess this is as much a reminder to myself to look before leaping!

I was gonna purchase that program until I came across a cheaper one for data entry. What is the PRODUCT that you are selling? What are you getting for your $90?? It better be good for that price! They pay on a percentage of sales? if you are doing all the ads anyways,
why not get the whole deal?
Just wondering.

Quoting: higame285 I wouldn't say this program is a scam. You people are just getting the wrong idea about the program. It is clearly stated in their website that you'll be typing ads for companies and they're going to be splitting the profits with you. So in other words the program is based on commission sales. If you look at the sales stats on their page you can tell it is based on sales you generate through your ads you type online. I wouldn't look at this as a scam. Many people just get the wrong impression about this site.. It never said you'll be getting paid per ad you type, so make sure you read the site to understand exactly what you're getting in too. Just my two cents
What you are doing is basically promoting Clickbank products using Google Adwords or some other such pay per click system. You do not need to pay for this information, you can go to Google's own website and learn for free however, it is not as easy as these people make it sound and Google is going through some major changes right now that will probably make it even harder.
Pay per click advertising can be very costly if you don't know what you're doing. Been there, done that.

I'm not sure what you would define scam; however, hometypers.com is just clickbank, and google...
Personally, I wouldn't go for it.
