Ok as I see it, I have tried many a money venture on the web. I see nothing that works for making money unless you do as all the others and make up a scam!
As for surveys, I have made money on http://www.gozingsurveys.com
If you call $1 per random survey income???
I have made $4 in 6 months thru them and spent no money, just countless hours half way through a survey and "You're not qualified" comes up often.

Good Luck all, if you ever find a winner, let us know.

There are a lot of legitimate ways to make money. I only take surveys as a little extra income and I love it when I qualify for the product trials and the higher paying trials. I do it for FUN and that makes the difference. To earn my actual income I run a website and a blog that teaches people how to work at home legitimately (no scams allowed). I get paid through affiliate marketing, adsense, linkshare, etc. I also sell on ebay. It is up to me how much money I make each month. If you are looking for the easy money or the get rich quick scheme you WILL be disappointed. I work 8-14 hrs a day but the benefit is that I do it from home and on my own schedule. You get out of it whatever you put into it.

I have been dealing with several online survey sites. My favorites so far are Greenfield and Global Test Network. Both send me surveys to do pretty frequently.

This works mostly for people in US and Canada right? Are there any such reliable survey sites in India or even in Asia?
Any Asians here, please respond with your message directing to the best!!

At least three of the major survey sites are worldwide, ACOP, Survey Savvy and Global test market.

I've did surveys before for money. I never received any money though. Most of the surveys would enter me into some type of sweepstake drawing or after I have filled out some entry questions to do a particular survey, it would say I was not qualified to do the survey. That happened a lot. That's my experience, I wouldn't want to waste my time again.

That is expected to happen. Research companies are looking for certain demographics. If they want to test a new bra on women ages 25-30 and you are a woman who just turned 24 or a man, you are not going to make it into the study. However if you happen to be a 27 year old woman who buys bras 6 times a year you are probably going to qualify for a free bra and a payment when the study is done. Again, if you are looking to make a living taking surveys don't waste your time but if you want some extra cash and a lot of free products sign up and have fun!

Hi there. First off a quick introduction. I live in the midwest and have been doing surveys for about 3 months now. I regularly make at a minimum $20 a week and I would say average about $100 a month. It takes work and some followthrough, but the play money is great!

Hi Forum,
I am finally starting to see some return from PandaResearch. You need to sign up for free trials that can turn into money if you don't keep track of what you've signed up for. I've pretty much decided it's not worth the effort with them.
There are other totally free surveys to do for points that turn into prizes or money, but these are slow to make return. I enjoy the surveys at Global Test Network. These are real surveys, not deals to sign up for something for a free trial. I hope Global Test Network lets me know where to get those custom make articles of intimate apparel. They have me all psyched up to get underwear that actually fits and offers great colors.
I ended up signing up for lots of surveys. I like Greenfield and Global Test Network the best. I also unsubscribed to lots of surveys, due to excess advertising emails. I am probably done with this interesting bunch of research for our cause, and will probably not write much about this subject again. I'll check for questions every now and then, because I like the information I get, and the great ways I learn to make money at home from this forum. Thanks for the great information.

Similar to RedRobin, I also signed up for tons and tons of sites...and since then have unsigned up for a bunch of them that were spam. And yes, there is money to be made in referring people to sites, but I only really see benefits from referring people to sites that actually pay you.

I do end up seeing about $80-100 a month. It doesn't end up being that time consuming and I actually think it's a lot of fun. Ends up being our "fun money" for new household stuff, movies, etc.

It is possible to get paid reasonable amounts of money from completing online surveys but only if you join several different ones, however, it is highly unlikely you will ever earn enough just from completing surveys to be able to give up your current job. However, if you are a student a stay at home mom or are retired they could certainly be worth your while.

In general for completing each survey you can expect to be paid paid between 1-5 ($2-$10), some surveys do pay significantly more but it just depends on the individual survey itself.

If each survey company offers you at least 2 surveys a month and you join 10 survey companies and complete 20 surveys a month you should be able to earn about 750 ($1,500) a year, which is not bad for just a couple of hours each month.

I started doing surveys about 3 months ago and recieved a total of $13 and a couple hundred entries in "sweepstakes" or "prize pools", but some of them were interesting.

I've started a month ago and I'm still in the registration process, nothing is coming out yet, I hope it will give me an extra income, I'm a student working part-time.
I believe it's only a matter of perseverance...I'm following an interesting and practical step-by-step guide found online, very clever, I hope it will help

Just wanted to let everyone know that the survey list on the message board at katieshugs has been updated. I know a lot of you have been using it and hope you are finding it helpful. I also wanted to remind everyone that you do NOT want to sign up for sites that are asking for too much information, ie; "do you plan on buying insurance in the next 6 mos, would you like to join such and such company, etc. I ran into another one of those last night when I was looking at a new site.

I have been taking surveys for a while, until I got to the point that they just don't pay. I received a dollar one time. No! most surveys have prequalifing questions, and most of the time you don't qualify. How many times have I gotten a message "We have a survey waiting, please go here etc. Fill out a few questions and get a message sorry you don't qualify for this survey. Not for me anymore.

A waste of time.

Hello Everyone........so in the agreement part where it states that or something about computer information and lost data etc. etc. does that mean if you download a survey and your computer crashes that they are not responsibile for any damages to you pc and what is the arbitration clause about??? Does that mean if the survey is illegitmate in some way that you could be held responsible but the survey company cannot? Thanks, for any feedback given.

Taking surveys is a great way to earn some money. You just have to be able to devote the time every day to complete them. Yes, some charge - but I used to do about 12-20 surveys a day and didn't pay a dime. There are many lists that access the sites. Two of the best ones are MySurvey and Greenfield. Neither one of those charges a dime.

I found that I could easily make, at the very least, grocery money every month just doing those every day. Some took just a few minutes, others, from goZing, for example, could take 15 minutes to a half an hour.

Any truly reputable survey company will never charge you a penny. Think of it this way...if you were reading the want ads and saw an ad for a focus group that you had to pay $25 to be included on, would you do it? Of course not. The real sites are market research companies who pay you, not the other way around.

How can you make decent spending money? Sign up with reputable sites, fill out your profiles completely, and make sure to check your e-mail regularly and fill them out promptly (they will fill up). So far this month, I have $35 in gift cards, checks that have arrived for $25, and $15 in Paypal...Happy New Year, indeed!

You can add these to Nilesh's list - and they don't charge a penny:

Greenfield
MySurvey
NPO
ipso-I-say - (this site chooses (or used to) a member every day to whom they give a money prize - I won $125 after I'd been a member only a couple of weeks)

This is my first post to this site...I have recently in the past 3 to 4 weeks registered with a site that supposely has a list of over 400 survey sites. I have spent the last two weeks registering and have registered for about 100 so for....This weekend I got my first survey from survey savvy which paid $20.00 via pay pal and a few days ago, I got another survey from acop which paid $20.00...in the midst of those surveys I got a survey from a company called buzzz that is in the process of sending me a product to review.
In my opinion I think it may be worth checking out. Anything you expect to make money with, will take a bit of work and time. I've only spent a few weeks and I plan to register for as many as they will allow.

See previous email**** FocusFW just invited me to a $75.00 telephone survey. I've completed the invitation questions and am awaiting there response. Will keep you informed. This is all new to me, but seems to be working out pretty good. Someone, bring me back to earth if I'm getting too overly excited about this.

It is worth it when you have the time to invest answering the surveys. Also, the internet surveys that you are specially invited to are very well worth the time. They pay up to $50 or more, but you are required to schedule when you will be available to participate. If I had more time, I'd go back to doing more surveys, as they were very lucrative.
