You can start with a free website to start with. If you do not know html well make use of a html editor like nvu. There are so many affiliate programs. Be careful in choosing.

does anyone know where I can get these for free?

if you are unsure about starting a website, better start with www.blogger.com it will give you free subdomain and free hosting and moreover you don't have know html & designing things, there is good templates available, its a nice place to start and learn things better... if u want your own domain name, then you have to purchase it and there is no option on that...

As I said above, you should register your domain and webhosting to start...

few domain registrants
i. www.godaddy.com
ii. www.active-domain.com
iii. www.networksolutions.com

web hosting
i. www.ipowerweb.com
ii. www.squarebrothers.com
iii. www.fortunecity.com

visit www.templatesbox.com and choose your free template that fits your website, you have to know some basic things in frontpage to edit the template to put your contents...

If you need any help with editing the templates, I can help you with that. I designed my site myself through trial and error. It is not as hard as it looks.

Hello everyone!

I am a full time Engineer who is planning to work at home full time. I have been scouting for opportunities since June but hasn't been very successful at it. My friend came across this forum weeks ago and i've spent most of my time just reading the threads of discussions here.

There are lots of topics i have yet to read. But from what i have already covered, much has been said about the benefits of affiliate marketing. I am very much interested in doing this but i also don't have any background in setting up a website.

I am browsing through your suggested websites and it's been very helpful. Sometimes though, i feel overwhelmed and i don't know where to start.

lukec22, please tell me how your website is finally coming along...

netjobs, the free templates at www.templatebox.com are great. Can you point me to a site where i could learn the basics in frontpage...

Any other suggestions and help would be very much appreciated!

Thank You!!!

Aileen
