Hi, my name is john and I work out of my home for a living. I am trying to understand the stock market better so that I can save money for retirement. I signed up at fool.com and etradertalk.com . Can these sites help me??? what do other work at home people do in terms of saving for the long term??

I might be a bit partial because I live in the same city that the Ameritrade call center is located in.......but if I were you and wanted to get into trading on the stock market, I'd give Ameritrade a call. You can also pick up something along the lines of "Trading Stocks For Dummies" at your local book store - that's probably not the exact title, but I'm sure there is a "For Dummies" or "For Idiots" book you can read on the subject.
