Howdy lovely people,
I am now staying home with my kids and wants to do some income earning work. I am really turned off with the all scams running until I came to check this forum (having objective advice).
Can you please advise how and where to start.
I have the foll qualifications:
1. I am a grad degreee holder (agriculture)
2. I used to be a science secondary school teacher (hence can do science related task)
3. I am proficient in typing and translating English-French.
Any advice will be most welcome. Also, can you please tell me links where I can apply for such jobs. Thanks again and look forward to hear from you.

I've had success with online marketing, marketing other peoples products, and earning up to 75% for each sale. It's known as affiliate marketing. There are loads of books around which will help you get off the ground. Good luck

Welcome to the forum - I guess I can say that, I am pretty new here myself! I have a question for you - are you looking for a job or a business? Are you looking to stay at home with your kids short term or long term? If we know a little more about what you are looking for, maybe we can throw more ideas out to you

Ideally I'd like to start a business but i'd like to start somewhere hence a job probably will be best kick-start. I am looking for long term prospects where work should transform into business (if possible).
I would be delighted to hear ideas for my ability.

Hi there D,
One of the things which does work well when you want to work at home, is to take advantage of skills you already posess. If I where you I would set up a simple web site where you offer your translation skills to the world.
It shouldn't be to hard to start receiving translation requests once you start posting your knowledge on the right forums and once you have written and submitted some articles in the right places.
Just make sure that you are prepared for requests which you'll receive. Know what you want to charge, how long it will take you to do a certain project, and so on.

Try to make a couple websites based on the skills you have and include adsense to them.
Become a english/french translator/interpreter and also can write in the opposite language for clients.
Become an ebay seller which leaves tons of time left for other things.

I think first, you need to have a different view about working. I have read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" of Robert Kyuosaki and found that I can control my life. That's the first important thing.
The second thing I found is I can be creative to find a way to earn money by: let the money work for me instead of working for money.
The third thing is I have the motivation to be "financial freedom".

You have come to the right place. Infinite scopes of earning are in the internet. Start a home biz, or work form home typist , data entry. Get a simple web and start affiliate work.. or be a translator.. enough opportunities are here.

Hi, you can make a lot of money with google adsense. All you have to do is create a few websites. You can download blue voda for free. U don't need to know html or anything, its really easy. Think of a niche topic of your choice and go to some article directories such as article city or ezine articles. You are allowed to copy and paste these articles into your site. After you've done that, just add the google adsense code to your website. Submit your site to google, and in a couple weeks it will start to get traffic and you'll begin to notice people clickin on your ads. the more sites you make = more moneY!

Hi, I think you have come to a wise choice. To earn a decent income and be close and spending quality time with your family...it is everyone's dream... and yes it is very possible thanks to internet.
There are in fact many ways to make money online off the internet. The internet business model would include: Brokerage, Advertising, Infomediary, Merchant, Manufacture Direct, Affiliates, many more...
There are free resources available on internet on how to start business at home, so do search on google "ways to make real money online" will show you link to some sites with information to get you started. Alternatively you can invested some money on bunddled informations or ebooks on sale teaching you in details how you start your online business. Mind you to always do your research before buying any of the books or informations, many of them would just selling you useless information. Despite of lot's of scam out there are still actually some of them that do really have good information to get you started. Good Luck.

You might also want to look for French websites and see about writing content for them, or offering your language skills to translate websites from French to English or vice versa.
There are many writing jobs for those with multi-lingual abilities. Check out guru.com and/or type in something like 'freelance jobs for translators' in your search bar.

I agree with the posts above. There are a ton of FREE resources available so you should spend the next 30 days just learning and learning and learning. Then, you will start to find out what you like and what is just not for you.
The key, in my opinion, is to do something that you really like or else you will just quit before the momentum takes over.

Another freelance website where you can register for free is getafreelancer. Also search craigslist posting, but some jobs posted there are scams
