Hello everyone, I want t thank all of you for the wonderful help you give. I know there is a lot to learn about affiliate marketing and I am ready to learn. Is there anyone out there who would or could mentor me? Sometimes its easier to work with someone one on one.

Yes you have a lot to learn in affiliate marketing, you may have to know the strategies and method to use in affiliate marketing..

Hi Shannan and welcome to the boards. You will find a ton of information here that can answer a lot of your question. You need to start with what you want to do. Affiliate marketer, networker etc?

If you would like to learn affiliate marketing, I suggest you try My Online Income System. This is the best program I have found to teach a beginner the fundamentals of affiliate marketing. Best of luck to you!!

Welcome Shannan! And we ALL felt like that in the beginning...no kidding...
But what you will discover as you go along - and believe me, you will learn the most by simply DOING it...is that as your brain gets wrapped around the whole concept of affiliate marketing, things will get easier and less fuzzy.
You have gotten some great suggestions here - so once you get started with something like the 30 Day Challenge, for instance, and if you have specific questions, feel free to come back and ask as that way we can try to answer more specifically.

I am not going to promote any products here, I am just going to tell you what I've learned from years of affiliate marketing. You need 3 things to succeed: persistence, common sense, and patience. Please stop and think about each of those qualities, especially common sense. People like to make it all so complicated but it really comes down to the fundamentals, such as supply and demand. The more you put into it at the early stages, the mor eit'll pay off in the end. Good luck!

Do not skimp on research upfront. There are a ton of free resources or very low cost "system" that can help you get up and making money relatively quickly. Do not hesitate to do the reading up front to get the information that will make you successful long term.

Dolphin,
You are off on the right foot. Talking with others about the biz is the way to do it. I encourge you to learn as much as you can because there are tons of programs out there.
Which one to join, right? Well, join something that you believe in. I once read a story about a famous actress who did a promotion for a pizza company, only later to be discovered that she hated pizza! How fake.
