Hi guys, if you had to recommend just 1 course/product to a newbie (me), who wants to start part time, with a view to working it into a full time income, what would it be? I like the idea of affilliate marketing, & I think I have good writing skills. Are any products on Clickbank going to teach me the skills I need? Yes, I know I've got to work hard/it takes time/I'll need many courses/there's lots of free stuff online etc. But I'd just like a recommendation of 1 course from people who are earning decent money in online marketing. Thanks.

Welcome Rex - you will probably get recommendations from several folks as there are several great programs available thru Clickbank. I personally prefer SBI but I also use the OWM (One Week Marketing) program.
Good luck!

I would recommend Wealthy Affiliate. It is not a Clickbank product, but it goes into great deal about how to market Clickbank products.

Hello Rex,
I suggest the Thirty Day Challenge or Wealthy Affiliate.
There are some members here who are with Profit Lance, you might contact them and see what they say.
The two above are my personal favorites.
At least research is fairly easy these days! Victoria

I have been using Profit Lance for only about a month now. The resources they provide are excellent, but it's not exactly a step-by step program like you may see from SBI ir One Week Marketing.
I personally am very impressed with the depth of information provided on the Profit Lance site. I have only barely scratched the surface of what the program provides and I already have enough work to keep me busy and I'm already seeing results.
I am not going to make a fortune in my first month, but Profit Lance has given me a foundation and a permanent resource to hone my skills and improve with each project I undertake.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions about this opportunity.

Hi Rex,
Just a single course?
That depends upon your style and your background.
Do you like the slow and steady, long term approach or the be quick to cash in on trends?
Do you want a one time payment? If so, what's your price range?
Do you mind monthly fees?
Are you a competent webmaster? Are you pretty good at using paid hosting and WordPress?
In any case, the first steps might be to spend some time reading through this forum. You can read from make money online blogs. You can take the free 30 Day challenge.
I'd do that for two or three months. Then you'll be in a better position to decide which program you'd like to spend your money on.
In any case, keep these programs in mind:
Honest Riches 3.0 One Week Marketing SBI Wealthy Affiliate
Some of our members also seem to like:
My Online Income System (MOIS) Niche Blogger by Amy Bass
Spend a little time to scrutinize things.

Hey Rex,
Some great advice above - in fact, so good that I don't have anything more to add...
Well... just my backing to:
1. 30 Day Challenge 2. My Online Income System
I'll be honest - I haven't tried the other programs mentioned above and they could well be better.
But I would try and persuade you to take the 30 Day Challenge - it's completely free - and it should give you a taste of what affiliate marketing is all about.
It's basically a pretty entertaining video course, which arguably teaches more than you'll learn in courses that you pay for!
Best of luck,
IP

It only makes sense to do the 30 Day Challenge since it's free then when you have a little experience in IM you may get some ideas on which business model you want to pursue. Too many people choose an online business model and know zero about working online. This can be a big mistake and waste of time. I know because I did it! Sonni

I would recommend My Online Income System Because it is actually geared toward the beginner. It is a day by day program.

Rex,
Almost every program has many components that are avaliable for free of very low inventment if you are willing to do some research. Take the time and do some research, once you find your product then work your product until your eyes are ready to fall out of your head and your fingers ache. Then wake up the next morning and do it all over again.

Only two and a half months ago I was a complete newbie to the internet AND my computer. I didn't know anything and I didn't have any money to spare. I decided on My Online Income System and don't regret it at all. I definitely struggled... a lot...but with the daily plan in MOIS it helped me get to the point of comprehension. Which is no easy task LOL I also tried and recommend One Week Marketing. That program, for people with some internet knowledge, will give you the big picture and help you with each individual campaign. They both have excellent support and loads of information outside of the programs themselves. When I get further along, I'm going to join Wealthy Affiliate and them Site Build It. All to expand my knowledge and my income. I am so glad that I decided on internet marketing and because I did, this weekend I put up a website for my drywall business. Something that I never thought I could do or wanted to do because of the daily maintenance required.
Take Care

I am going to back those who recommend MOIS, only because I have no background in marketing, but after going through half o the course, I have learned mountains!
I honestly cannot believe how much there is to do. I actually started a blog on My online income system <Snip>, and how things panned out for me. I know it sounds cheesy, but I thought maybe it would help others if it worked/did not work for me. Maybe they could decide better if it was for them or not.

Hi rosa41, Congratulations!
It feels great publishing a site doesn't it? Are you using Google Maps?
For a local biz, this should be an excellent opportunity for you.
