Yes, what are you doing in order to get traffic to your website. It might not be your website but perhaps not doing the right things, not enough of the right things, etc.
There are many factors to consider when needing to get traffic. Tell us what you are doing and then we will try to critique you from there.

Hi Hermas,
I have tried interacting in the forums, I have submitted my site to many social bookmarking sites, backlinks (blogs & lens), article submission.
If there is any other ways to market i would be glad to know. Thanks in advance

It seems like you are following the methods to get traffic to your website. Some suggestions are you can also write ads, press releases, and submit articles to several directories.
Have you manually submitted your website to Google and Yahoo?
I assume you are getting traffic just not the number you wish to see?
If this is the case sometimes it takes a little time and effort to get your numbers up. You have to be consisent in getting back links that point to your website.
Another thing that you can possible look at are the keywords you are using to get your targeted traffic. Long tail keywords help to increase the number in traffic.
Are you on Twitter? That is something that is exploding right now and you can join and people will follow you for no charge.

Like I said before, sometimes it takes longer than we would like to get quality traffic to our sites. Just stay steady, always putting new information or a new twist on the information and you get more traffic.
Let me know how it works out for you.

Desigirl: What could be wrong?? Nothing may be "wrong" as such. It may just be that you haven't done enough yet to get the results you are seeking. Getting traffic is like trying to light a fire. Sometimes the first few matches you strike don't immediately light the fire, so you've got to keep striking till you get a flame. Same here!
It has only been a month. You couldn't possibly be anywhere near completing the foundation you need on which to build your business. Keep writing and submitting articles and posting in forums. Follow the practical suggestions Gridellas gave you and keep plugging away. Stay on the path.
Rome wasn't built in a day, and in the Internet world, a month represents about a minute.

Actually a month is not that long yet.
I had some Squidoo lens and blogs that took over a month to get decent traffic to them which in turn got more traffic to my websites then, it just takes some time unless you have a really hot topic with very little competition...
Just for the kicks of it, I went to google trends the other day and saw that Bo Obama was a hot topic so I went in really quick and set up a quick blog - bo-obama dot blogspot dot com - in no time flat, I had traffic from google, like in minutes!
It was a blast but it only happened for a few days and i didn't have time to stay on top of it so it just sits there now, but it goes to prove that if you can find some good long tailed keywords with not much competition, you can get traffic... and you also want something that will be more long term than Obama's puppy...
I would say, just keep on doing what you are doing, tweak and test...

I would stress a little patience. One month is not nearly a long enough sample period to determine if your marketing efforts are a success or not. The things you've done thus far can be quite effective if done consistently over time.

Are you submitting your articles to lots of article directories? You don't even have to change them, make sure you submit to ezinearticles first and once approved there go and submit to goarticles, buzzle and articlesbase.

That is one of the toughest things about affiliate marketing. You have to work so hard at the first to get your information out for people to find. It takes a lot of foot work and the key is to be consisent. Once you get the the traffic started then it will be a little easier to mulitply the numbers. Hang in there and be patience, it will get easier.

Desigirl: I tried out in another forum...People are so rude... Hi Desigirl,
That's why I love this forum and why I don't waste my time posting in other WAH forums.
I'm with Hermas, it's only been a month. Don't sweat the lack of traffic quite yet. However, see if at least a few of your phrases are ranking on the first page of Google. Usually they'll also need to have at least a little search demand too.
To get clickthrough from the SERPs it helps quite a bit to have descriptions that generate interest so that people will be tempted to visit your site.
Good luck!

I'm with Hermas too - he mentioned 'foundation'
This is what it's all about.
It may look like a lot of work... and it probably is to some extent. But with each piece of that work there is a difference.
There are so many variables that nothing can be predicted - a customer that would normally buy may have left their credit card in the car decided they'd fetch it later. Maybe someone's about to click on your link when their spouse comes home from work and wants his dinner...
You don't have control over this, but you do have control over the volume of the market you can reach, and over time this is what will deliver the results.
The more articles you write (with good content) the wider the audience you can reach. I'm not sure who said it on this forum (maybe was Hermas?) but each article is like a sales representative for your site, attracting visitors for you.
Blogs are great - not only can they be like an online diary for yourself to keep track of what you're learning, they'll also be there to inform others and refer them to your site. Keep updating and adding good content - this is what search engines are looking for.
Why are people looking for the secret to Search Engine Optimisation? Because they're looking for a shortcut. They want all the attention for doing as little work as possible.
Why do people use search engines? To find real solutions to their queries.
What do search engines want to pride themselves on? Providing real solutions to people's queries.
So if your content is real, original, provides solutions to people's queries, and is fresh and regularly updated, then the search engine will find you and the people will come (applies to blogs, websites etc.)
This is all about building the foundation - and as the guys above say, one month is not long so stick with it. The stuff on top of the foundation is just decoration. Have fun with that later!
I read this morning (seems a long time ago now...) that while it can take a bit of time getting noticed, once you've got there, it's going to be really hard to knock you off the top.
This is when you realise how much the effort you put into building that foundation was worth it.
Now it is time for me to go off to another forum and be rude.

Im with newbie shield this is a great forum and this thread proves it. A new business owner asked a question and got tons of advice. Great job to everyone and keep at it. Quality traffic can happen at any time especially with all the advertising venues on the market. Many of which are free (like this forum). Ive also found that by giving away a tool or a free offer you can build a list that you can then market to in stages. As the trust builds they are more apt to buy from you. I hope that helps.
