...that I can start fast, and earn fast. I, along with most of society these days, am in an ugly financial situation. Trying to find a decent regular job seems inpossible here. I'm really getting deperate here. Anyway, any ideas on how I can start working on something that I can actually make some decent money doing, and not cost me an arm and a leg?? There are so many things on this forum, and it's overwhelming. I'm not sure where would be the best place to focus my energy, that wouldn't be a waste. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Oh boy... first of all, it is an illusion that you can make money fast online ...
The only time I made money quickly was when I invested over ten grand and then I made a couple thousand a month for awhile... but I got frustrated with certain aspects of it and quit...
There are several ways that you could get your feet wet without too much investment, but it is basically a learning curve if you have never done much with online marketing.
If you can swing the investment, then SBI is a really great place to start as it is a business in a box as far as getting a 'working' website out there.
Other methods are setting up simple blogs with various topics and then as you get traffic to them, you can add links to affiliate products and adsense...
Feel free to ask specific questions on the forum here as that is what we are here for... to help each other find success in being at home folks that make money while we are at home ...

I apologize to tell you this but really there is not a quick way to make money online. Doesn't take that long either but is just like mountainmom5 said "it is basically a learning curve if you have never done much with online marketing."
First think you need to do is find a niche market or target market than start blogging about it and using articles to drive traffic to each other. Get your self a clickbank account and find anything to promote in your blog or articles related to that niche market.
For example: If your target market (niche) is dog training blog about different techniques on how to train a dog. Find in clickbank or other affiliate places a ebook for example that teach techniques on how to train a dog.
If you like to be in front of a camera you can also use short videos of you giving advise on dog training and in the video description you can add your blog link or affiliate product. That's another way to get traffic either to your blog, articles or affiliate product.
They are so many other trick you can do to accomplish this but I don't want you to get overwhelm. I hope this helps please come back and let us know what you being doing and share with us. Feel free to ask any other question you may have.
Success to you,
Franklin

Hi,
As said by mountain mom, there is no way you can make fast money on internet. You should have lot of patience. You need to dedicate a lot of time on learning about the market. Then do some research etc etc. But nothing is impossible. Give it sometime and I am sure with a positive attitude you will surely become successful.

I agree with mountainmom5. There is no get rich quick here. You will need to put in some effort and time to make it work.
Unless you have a large amount of money to do the investment and you will get it within weeks.

Man, you are not lying. I am in that same situation now and already in a home business, trying to work hard to build it. Also, I was doing work at home jobs and I believe they are the best way to go if you want some quick cash. Sometimes when you try to do affiliate marketing the same thing...takes time, home based business...takes time, freelancing...takes time (currently in it as well), ptc's, offer sites...a waste of time because you don't make much money (this is not for those who are successful in these types of sites). I just pray that this business goes well and If you like you can pm me for other ways I am raking in some extra cash. I feel so sorry for you.

I agree and would steer away from anything which professes to make you rich overnight.
You could try looking something you could join free to check it out and see if it's for you or at least with low start up costs.

Well know that you know that you won't get rich quick, certainly without some risk that you may not be willing to take. You also must understand that getting involved in a business opportunity shouldn't be worked from a point of desperation. While the business could provide you with cash flow, it may not meet the 'desperate need' that some have. In other words, try and have your mind right or get it right so you can achieve success with an online business.
Getting the mind right is one of the first training principles we share with people. Without it success is not only impossible, it's improbable.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond, and the great advice. It's nice to finally be part of a forum where everyone isn't just trying to put their links everywhere, and don't have anything to offer for it. Or, just here to bash eveyrone else or every program, just b/c it's not one they're promoting. Lala, don't feel sorry for me, I'M A TROOPER! FreeCashMan, I might be a little desperate, but not foolish by any means. Thanks again guys!

@workingmom10 I can understand where you are coming from and can tell you that the best way to go is possibly to look into what you can possibly offer to people online in terms of service. Then go to freelance sites (dont want to put links here so i don't get done for promoting) Google freelance sites and im sure you will find a few...
Post your service there and take payment via paypal or moneybookers and many more
Good Luck and if you need some more pointers on this issue feel free to ask as i travelled that same road.

Hi mountainmom5,
My business turned the corner when 2 things happened:
1) I joined a business that had a co-op advertising option. This helped my business grow while I was 'learning the ropes'.
2) I learned how to drive traffic for free to my site(s). This kept my costs extremely low. (You can learn the 'free traffic' part of the equation at my blog)
Good luck in your search....I hope you find the right business for YOU.
