Hi guys I would like a little advice if you don't mind
I ran a MMM ad (total of 5 variations) from 19th - 22nd March and just got a bill from Adbrite which is fair enough but I could scream! My ads haven't got a very good CTR when they are compared against impressions and so aren't converting.
Here's an example:
Country Boy Reveals All You Are Few Minutes Away From Making Serious Money, Complete Guide. www.wealth-fusions.com
This is the highest one out of the five variations I have (all leading to the same page) I think I need to put an email signup in there really to capture names and addresses but I'll get that done soon.
The numbers are this: Impressions 132,914 Clicks 71 CTR 0.053% CPM $0.12 CPC $0.22 Conv. 0 CPA $0.00 Spend $15.81
Have I given it enough time? (I can't afford to spend any more if they aren't converting), are the ads compelling enough? Is my site ok? (I can't see where they are leaving the site unfortunately - might just be me, I'll have to dig a little deeper!)
I'm advertising on Google and related sites, spreading my net as wide as I can (in English speaking countries which has been recommended) going through the Adbrite system when you create a new campaign, so have any of you great people got any advice for me??? xx

You have to be very careful when using sites like adbrite, because they can be as expensive if not more so than Adsense.
You not only need to very good ad copy you need to understand the metrics the site is showing to determine whether or not you should advertise in the category your choosing. On top of this you need to have a lot of cash up front for lots of testing.
I forgot the ebook that I read about two years ago, but if you look up Carlos and Lupe this should be their site link http://traffictactics.com/tt/ you should be able to learn how to use such sites as they claim to make thousands per month with them.
In that ebook they detailed how they go about using these sites, and it's an expensive process that requires several thousand in upfront capital invest to see returns.

Thanks Destiny
I'm going to knock ppc on the head for now as I really cannot afford to lose any more money like that, I may as well just shove my money in the drain!
I think I'm going to go the way of the tortoise and begin article marketing.

mountainmom5: The way of the tortoise is best in the long run... I knew it all along Viola! Sometimes you have to see if something will work though, 'they' keep telling you it will!
I was trying to make a bit of quick cash but keep getting distracted by 'promising shiney things' that don't seem to work for me!
Focus, head down and write about what I know. Add some affiliate links in here and there and then keep building upon what I know.

Hi Red,
I know it can be discouraging but not all is lost. Experience is priceless.
1. Write down what you learned for future reference.
2. Read up on PPC. Make sure you read up on relevance, quality scores, and how to convert among other PPC bits.
3. Don't use it again until you feel you've learned most of the theory from a wide variety of sources.
4. Pat yourself for having the courage to give it a try and be happy that you've learned some things.
You're making progress and it's not breaking your bank.
