Hi, I have been having problems with the link I place in the signature box of the articles I submit to ezine. So:
Will ezine allow you to post links to www.yourdomain.com/watever?
Will they allow you to place direct affiliate links?
Do they only allow you to link to www.yourdomain.com?
If somebody could please answer this it would be much appreciated.

srama3,
srama3: I have been having problems with the link I place in the signature box of the articles I submit to ezine. You can find the answers to your questions in EzineArticles' T.O.S. Meanwhile, if you can explain your problem specifically, it'll be easier to give you a precise solution.

Most ezines do not allow you to use affiliate links, although last I checked, Goarticles.com is still affiliate link friendly.
They do allow you to link to yourdomain.com, but I'm not sure if they will allow you to link to other pages on your domain. You can just try it out and see what happens, and if they disaprove your article because you are linking to other pages within your domain, you can just change to domain back to your home page and they will accept the article at that point.

A8ch: Meanwhile, if you can explain your problem specifically, it'll be easier to give you a precise solution. I was writing an article about some good ways to make money online, and I wanted to link back to the page on my website that has some recommended work at home programs i.e. www.yourdomain.com/whatever. However, when I sent this for approval they refused it, saying that it needed to link to the top page of my website. I have seen other articles that have done the same thing that I have and been approved. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Shiva,
Know the T.O.S. but also know that not all editors will treat your submissions the same. Some editors are a bit more liberal than others.

Ezine Articles: 3. EzineArticles.com Editorial Guidelines: (AFFILIATE PROGRAMS): Affiliate links will be allowed if the link is a domain name you own which forward/redirects to the affiliate link from the top-level of the domain name. For example, it is permissible to forward to an affiliate link from: http:// your-company-name.com/ ...but it would not be permissible to forward to an affiliate link from: http:// your-company-name.com/page.html http:// your-company-name.com/subdirectory/ http:// your-company-name.com/subdirectory/page.html http:// sub-domain.your-company-name.com/ Any article with an affiliate link that does not adhere to this guideline will cause the article to be rejected. Try this!
In the article Resourse Box use anchor text (3-word limit) to link to your "www.yourdomain.com/whatever" page. That's the only place and strategy where I've seen them allow a link to an inside webpage.

You never know like NS mentioned EZA's editors aren't in sync one will approve and another will reject. You never know and if they do reject then fix it and send it back in. I've had to correct a few for different issues.
Once they rejected my article for having the url in the title and the next time they didn't. Then once they said I had the url in the title and I didn't! So, then I told them my title isn't in the url and they said you're right it isn't we're wrong. You never know... Sonni

I think all the possible solutions has been added. But I feel it is little bitter to create a domain name for every affiliate we sign up. It would be great if Ezine removes this particular rule... But its just a personal feel...
