Hi,

I have been scammed many times. From my experience I am telling don't ever believe any person who asks for money to provide information or service.

Now a days, great websites that have been believed to make you rich by giving valuable information (ebook) is also not worthy. It seems that only the website owner is earning money and getting rich.

All information all in the internet. Great valuable information are spread across internet, so by doing a search you could learn themselves.

So guys, watch out and be clever.

Regards
Sam

That is true in a lot of cases, but not always. Believe it or not, there are websties out there that have something to sell that aren't out to scam you...

Be carefully, I suggest that before invold any online program, find some review about that program through forum or search engine.

Hi Sam,

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. You said that all who provide a service or an ebook are scammers?

Let's assume for a minute that I did understand correctly. Web Programmers and Attorneys provide a service for a fee. Are they scammers? Everyone from the ignorant to the highest experts in any field might provide an ebook. Are they all scammers?

Since it doesn't seem likely that you mean all of these people, perhaps you might clarify what you actually meant.

I am sorry guys.

This is not in the case of service industry.

It is in the case of certain ebook sellers. The hype that is given in the sales page is not there in their actual product.

For Eg: I had some bitter experience. I bought some ebooks, their sales page tells a lot of attractive things. But their product is not worthy of a cent. They were just copy paste from internet. This is what I tried to meant.

Hope now this is clear...

There will always be the good guys and the bad guys it's up to us to do our due diligence and check them out best we can. I never make quick decisions when it comes to money. It can wait or else forget it.

@ Sonni

You are correct. Because of quick and haphazard decisions I lose many $. I have learnt a lot of things and I hope in future I will not do this...

I have to agree with getagrip. Not everything is a scam. What is the difference between an ebook and a book in print? Sure, I suppose you can preview a book before you buy it if you stand in the book store and read it, but that doesn't necessarily make the book any more/less valuable than something you find online.

I would think there is a relationship between how many times you have been scammed and how valuable you perceive different programs to be. That is... Once you have bought into a dozen or so programs just to find out they are all the same, you naturally become weary of other programs claiming to having the secrets to success. But someone new to the industry might find a particular program useful if they have never been exposed to the material before.

That being said, and as a information publisher myself, I don't think it is fair to label anything as a scam just because they request money up front for information. To me, a scam is when someone literally intends to rip you off. That is, if you pay $100 to someone and they never deliver the product you paid for. That is an example of a scam.

And, finally... It is true there is an abundant supply of free information on the internet. However, most people like instant gratification. It's the same reason you pay $7-$10 for a hamburger and fries when you could spend the same money at grocery store and eat for a week. In some cases, the information you are paying for is a matter of convenience and saving you the reasearch time, allowing you to "hit the ground running" so to speak.

It's all relative... Or that's my opinion, atleast. :P

You are correct about doing the research first. If you find the information you're looking for then great, you've just saved yourself some money. On the other hand, if after an extensive research, you have yet to find the information on that particular topic, then I believe it is a smart move to make an investment towards that information and implement it to your business.
