Hello Everyone!
I moved to MA from VT with my boyfriend back in June but was forced to move back to VT due to a lack of jobs in MA. I really want to be with my boyfriend but have been unable to find a job that will pay enough to support me in the area. Working from home seems like a good solution to this problem. Working from home would also allow me to fulfill my dream of being a foster parent for animals and maybe children in the future.
I have some questions. I've done a lot of research and have read MANY of the posts here in this forum. I'm not really finding what I'm looking for though.
1) I need to make at least $1300 a month to pay all of my bills. Is it possible to make this much?
2) How much time do you spend working online per day and how much profit do you make?
3) I've heard a lot about affiliates but I can't find any details about it. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to teach me about it? If not, is there anyone out there willing to be my go-to person for questions?
4) Is there anyone out there willing to teach me how to do what you do?
5) What program has been most successful for you?
I would really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks so much in advance.

Hello Kasnow86,
Welcome to the forum . If you are looking to do affiliate marketing you might want to look into The30dayChallenge. The30DayChallenge is completely free 30 day course on how to make money online. There are of course more than one way to make money online but this is a nice introduction to online marketing. Just put 30Daychallenge in a Google search it will come right up.

Hi Kailey and welcome....
There are programs that you can get where you can learn a lot about affiliate marketing - I have a lot of people that ask me the same questions you are asking.... and looking for someone to take them by the hand...
While that would be wonderful to do with everybody - I don't have the time to do that myself. Maybe someone else will hop on here and offer that to you but what I did do was set up a blog where I try to simplify things a little to help the light bulbs go on for you ... I had started a thread earlier for that very purpose - to help newbies understand and get a handle on what affiliate marketing is all about so you might want to read that and then post any questions you have and we will pop in and answer...
(Here is the new thread on affiliate marketing.... http://www.work-at-home-forum.com/3_12007_0.html
And there are other really great threads as well on that.... )
That way we can help a whole bunch of people rather than just one on one - which is very time comsuming as quite a few of us on here are into affiliate marketing and this is our 'break room - hangout' where we share and learn together ...

There are alot of good affiliate programs out there! But its not as easy as it sounds! you must be willing to put in alot of work and learn what works to be successful! My advice to you is to get as much info from the programs so you can have a better understanding of what it takes to make some good money as an affiliate!

Thank you all for your advice and opinions. They have been very helpful so far. Right now I'm going through the 30 Day Challenge. I'm learning a lot of the basics about the tools needed to succeed such as Twitter and Google Reader. The pre-season videos have given me enough info to start asking the right questions. After I'm finished with the 30 Day Challenge videos, I'll move on to watching tutorials from some of the other sites that were mentioned. You can never know too much! Wish me luck!
