I want to be work from home but its hard when you have a full time job. It seem to me that you need to put in alot of time on your business for it to work. Im just curious how much time do you put into your bussiness in a day?

I only put in about 2 hours a day except forthe weeked and on saturday I will work about 4 hours. It makes it a little slower to grow my business, but as the saying goes, "The Tortis Won the race" There are many business you can work at home with and not put a lot of hours in ,however you must be will to stay focused and not expect a huge return overnight.

I would agree with the turtle strategy....a Get Rich Slow scheme 
If you don't have a lot of time then time becomes highly valuable. So don't waste it! With limited time it becomes even more important to follow a laid out step by step plan that removed all the technical knowledge required to make money online.
Having wasted much time and money trying to develop an at home business I now realise that having a great system and tools, with good support is just about the ONLY way to proceed.
Do yourself a favour and think about joined a reputable company that is the business of helping time poor people to work from home successfully.

I have worked from home since i started it because i was on maternity leave. However my partner didn't at first he continued to do a day job as well so we had something to fall back on if it didn't work.
He was working 60+ hours a week as that was what was expected of him, then coming in and doing about 2-3 hours every evening and 4-5 hours of a weekend!
As you can imagine he was good for nothing and was constantly grumpy, but it was worth it in the end!

Hi Hamster,
It is hard to find time when you're working full time. In that position, a person should consider cutting back on some of the social activities and put in the home biz study time.
Take special advantage of your days off and try to find an hour or two on your work days. That way you should be able to get in 20 hours or more a week and make decent progress without feeling like you have no time for anything else.
You might schedule the other important things into each week on a week-by-week basis as you go along.
Wall calendars or similar can be helpful.

I work full time from home and I do spend about 5-6 hours. I also have people on my team who work full-time jobs and work on the business program part-time.
My advice is first, you need to figure out how much time you are able to put in your home business and create a schedule.
Second, stick to it and be consistent with your efforts.
You see, it doesn't really matter whether you put in 2, 3, 5, or even 8 hours in your home business. What's important sticking to your planned schedule and stay consistent. You will definitely see results doing it this way.

The beauty of an online home business is that you can work at it whenever it fits best into your schedule. I am a stay at home mom of a 5 and 4 year old, so every day is different for me. Some days I have time in the morning, while other days I can't get to the computer until the kids are in bed. Where else except online can you have that much flexibility?

If you can squeeze out a least one hour during the week and fives on weekends. That's 10 hours a week, this should be enough time to get you started in the right direction.
It worked well for me in the beginning.

I to used to have full time job and i have 3 children so it was hard to put the hours in but the good thing about this is it fits around your daily life so there are no set hours you have to work just try to make every minute you have productive. I know a lot of people say you should set yourself a daily task plan of what you should get done that day but i found it easier to set myself a weekly plan because some days you get more time than others so as long as your tasks are done by the end of the week then you are happy (after all there is no panic getting the tasks done asap as long as they get done) just pin your weekly tasks close to your screen and cross them off as you go along this will enable you to get through the tasks at your own speed.

I too have just started the work at home biz but with a full time job and being a single mom with a little one it is at times very trying. I am still struggling but I have to agree with Graham scass on her plan as you just got to do what works for you.

when i started my website business working from home, i had a day job aswell so i used to get up earlier and spend an hour and a half before work on the business. after work another hour and a half and hey, three hours work split nicely between the job. Now i'm making money on the internet full time but we all have to make that initial sacrifice - it won't be forever - it's only to get you started.

There is no get rich fast scheme or get rich slow scheme. The only get rich scheme I know of is hard work. It can be a day job or a night job or a work-at-home job. The more you work, the more money you make. The more time you take to learn the business you wish to invest in, the more money you will make out of it.
So time is the key word here. Oh and you have to be smart as well
