I came accross an article a while ago that had a list of companies that paid well for publishers. Although this might be a few months old I have looked into each company and I would agree that they have been good ones. I thought I would provide the list here for anyone looking for more than one way to make money online through publishing.
1. Adsense
2. Chitika
3. Amazon Associates
4. Private Ads sold on your website
5. TLA
These were the top ten earners for this website. If you have any other good sites feel free to post them. Thanks!

you're very right jenny, google adsense and amazon associates definately come to mind.
For those that are unfamiliar with these words, simply look it up on google and it simple to comprehend. Its another way to make some income online.
Although i strongly think being an affiliate is more lucrative than a publisher.
