I think that there are a few legit home based business out there for people to make a great living on. So, if you're one of them, feel free to tell your story. My story of how I got started & why, will be posted shortly. Please remember, do not scam anyone on this page.

I don't know how you will avoid being scammed. Some people think a business is the best thing (but that's cuz it's working for them) and others would consider it a scam.
As far as my business is concerned I have the money to say it's not a scam. I did my work and I got paid for it. I work for TraVerus Travel. I booked my friends honeymoon and as soon as they left for it, bam, 200$ check in my account
There is a part of the business that I can see how people would consider it a "scam" but honestly TraVerus saves MILLIONS on advertising by having the company spread by word of mouth. You get paid to advertise for them. 50$/person a week. I looked into another travel business like TraVersu (name escapes me now) but the compensation plan wasn't ever close to what TraVerus offers. It's quite amazing really.
You make money 2 ways and one way is a residual income... never ends unless you quit. I find booking travel to be a very exciting career. I get so excited planning peoples vacations, which in turn makes them spend more
My website- should you want to look into it [Link removed - Admin] There is also a video ([Link removed - Admin]) this is the most helpful I've ever watched. If you have any questions there is an e-mail link on my website main page-- you can also PM me on here.
I did my research before I joined. I talked to other agents for 4 months before deciding to join. I like the flexablity of being able to increase my work load when I have time to deal with it.
Best of luck and hope YOU find something that works FOR YOU not against.

Hi successful2008, If you make your link clickable in your sig - I might check it out - lol...many of us are too lazy or too busy to copy and paste!
Most of the home businesses represented on this forum by the ones that frequently post are very legit and there are successful people in most any home business that you research... The main thing is to find the 'right fit' - it took me several tries at a variety of things before I found the one that worked for me, but there are very successful people in the businesses that I wasn't able to find success in.
When you find the one that feels right for you and you can believe in it - then you need to roll up your sleeves, determine that you will never quit and get ready for the ride!
Network marketing is a business that has changed many lives in more ways than financially.... I like to think of it as a personal development program on steriods - lol - you get to make a ton of money once you master the skill.... I mean, you could make money marketing shoe strings once you get your skill down pat...

Rachel, I do not think that all home based business out there are scams because someone is making money. There is no such thing is a get rich quick. When it promise's you'll be rich for doing "nothing" think twice. There are so many companies out there that people have replaced their income per year in a month. I do have that business at [Link removed - Admin] This may not be for everyone, but it's works just fine for me. I'm glad that you're very happy in the business that you're in. I wish you nothing but the best success that life has to offer. I look forward to your next reply Rachel.
To you success, Michelle

I'm an article marketer. It's easy and it's free. Here's an example of the power of article marketing:
I wrote an article yesterday and by this afternoon I had 145 people click through to my landing page (a free Squidoo lens). Out of that number 44 clicked to the merchant page and I made one sale.

Hey billypilgrim - where do you find the best places to place your articles...I am currently using ezinearticles and goarticles.
I could use a few tips on writing them as that is a good click thru rate! Any tips you care to share??

I'm an affiliate marketer - basically, I market products and services online in exchange for a commission.

I build niche (topic) websites on subjects that interest me and make money from affiliate marketing (recommending other people's products and services and earning a commission on sales).
I also make some advertising money from Adsense on my sites.
I've recently added some network marketing (MLM) products to one of my sites as an additional stream of income.
Eventually, I plan to add some of my own products to the mix, but that is still down the road a piece.

Hi all... For me the easier and the cheaper the better... FreebieForce costs only $9.95 per month. I actually got $185.00 worth of FREE stuff in about 20 minutes just last weekend! The closed forced matrix (5x7) pays out one dollar per member and I have been making money on my downline since day one! You gotta check it out! One other thing, it has great appeal to the masses!
