Hi all,
My name's Drew, and I'm no stranger to this forum as I have visited this forum before, and I've spent the last 24 hours or so reading up on the topics since my last visit as there were many.
I purchased Profit Lance last summer, and I started the course, but due to my personal commitments I was unable to continue. Most of what I covered I have forgotten, so I need to startover.
Now my circumstances have changed for the better, and this time round, I am determined to cover the whole course, and I know the result I'm focused on and I will not allow outside factors to distract my long-term education.
I already realise this is an online course and will take time, effort and patience to understand the subjects in and out, but I need a structured guide how to accomplish this. What I'm really asking in essence is what to do on Day 1, then once that's achieved, where to go from there.
I want to structure this course in such a way that I spend 2 hours a day in theory and 1 hour a day in practical. Initially, I'm not doing this for the money, I'm doing this to gain the long-term skills and experience, so that at the time I'm ready to do so, I can create a live project of some sort.
I've read from many members that I should start in the project section, so before I do this again, I would like someone to please explain how best to utilize this source and where to go from there.
As I said, I will want to be spending 2-3 hours a day in theory & practical, I've no idea over how many weeks or months it will take me until I'm comfortable, but I'm in no hurry, I want to best educate myself so that I can be a self employed internet marketer in my own rights.
I will be journaling each days work, and summarising my week's activities so I can keep on track of my learning, and hopefully one day I can share with others my learning programme.
I eagerly await your replies.
Many thanks.

Glad to hear that you are going to put in the effort!
As for where to start, I always recommend the projects. This is because it teaches you how to do the keyword research. The keyword research is the most important thing if you want to make money online no matter if you are setting up adsense websites or affiliate marketing blogs, or writing an article that links back to your blogs. Before you begin any other section, you should know exactly how to do this research. The projects do a great job of teaching you how to do that. So for day 1, I highly recommend you go through every single video tutorial in the project area. After you complete it, pick a niche you are interested in and begin your own keyword research by following the steps that you were taught. Once you find some really good keyword phrases, you can figure out if you want to start doing article marketing, setting up simple blogs, or even creating a website. If you choose articles, head over to the article section and go from there. There really is no right or wrong path to take. I hope that helped!

Like makemoneyonline suggests, i have always guided new members to the project area for the same reasons as makemoneyonline has explained.
I feel however knowing some theory allows you to think clearer and set in your mind how you plan to make money, so first i would suggest you read some basic theory covering the techniques of making money online and then move into the project area.
i must say you have approached the course with a good mentality

"learn before you earn" Don't jump right in take you time get some background knowledge and follow the course with detail, take notes for looking back on or print some of the course off and highlight important parts. This will help when you look back for a quick reminder,
All the best

Thank you both for your comments.
I believe that the most important thing to business success is the right work ethic, which many employers will tell you, is not something they can teach you, you have to teach yourself, and that will come down to having the right attitude and focus mainly identified by these three questions;
Where do you want to be?
How do you plan to get there?
When do you plan to get there by?
Perhaps what many people fail to ask themselves is another question, and for me, this is the most important;
Why do you want to reach your destination?
I think too many people are driven by results, and once they've achieved, or failed, they either give up, or are left feeling unsuccessful. Once you know why it is you want what you want, your journey becomes alot more fulfulling, and what might once have seemed impossible is now possible, and that's because of having the right attitude.
I share similar reasons for wanting to be in this business as our fellow profitlancer htmlview, as I like what he said at the end of his brilliant review;
Quoting: htmlview It's good, It will help you to pay off your debts and loans and help you live a less stressful life. That's the sort of life I desire, and now I have a plan of action on how to achieve this.
I hope I have a success story to share with you all one day.
