For the last three months, I''ve been promoting the heck out of my sites.
Signitures on related forums Blogs Articles Classified Ads SE Submissions
I'm going to take a break from promoting for a while and just sit back and see what happen for a few weeks.
When I start getting some results, I'll start promoting again.

Since what you have been doing is not working. Doing nothing has got to work better.

Best of luck duck, sometimes a break is what's best, give you a chance to recharge and possibly rethink some of the ways you were doing stuff. A break is always good.

Hey duck,
"Only way you can lose, if you don't start." But before you promote you should have your own domain. Promoting aff. link is very hard this days. Also you can have something set up in squidoo.com will make a huge difference. Good luck,

duckbird,
While you are taking the time off from promoting your affiliate sites, why don't you change gears and start thinking of a niche site you could build.
You could do a bit of research and start writing pages and pages of quality content. Just type it up in your notepad as a text file and then you will have it all ready when you are ready to "jump back in the water."
Giving your brain a complete break is nice for a few days or a week, but I think you may enjoy the challenge of something "different."
That is one of the things I have found really helpful about having two sites on completely different topics. When I get a bit burned out on one, I can pop over and do a bit of work on the other. It is very refreshing.
All the best.

I have been promoting affiliate website for the past month now since I started working seriously on earning from internet. I realized everybody is trying to do the same thing. I am somehow competing with others.
So while I will continue to work on affiliate promotion, I have to agree with Happywife that I should explore the option of building my own business from my backgorund and expertise and knowledge. I will see if I can do with my niche website.
Wish me luck.
Wish me luck.

ka7952,
Good luck! Really, it doesn't take as much luck as hard work, patience, and persistence. Although I don't rule out Divine Intervention, as I do ask the Lord to bless me as I go.
If you don't know how to go about building a niche website (I didn't) I think the program I use is THE best and simplest that will lead you to success.
The bottom link in my sig. tells you all about it if you are considering going that way. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to do my best to answer them.
All the best to you.
