Hi
I signed up for Profit Lance last week. I have read through most of it. I've worked my way through all the projects so I have blogs created etc... but I'm still pretty unsure as to how it all works. I've not earned anything yet and to be honest I can't really see how I'm going to. Think I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone offer any advice?
Many thanks
Martin

the two way profit lance teaches youto make money online is through adsense income and affiliate marketing.
adsense: These are small google ads shown on your site, if someone clisks on these ads you will receive a small amount for there click.... if you are still unsure what an adsense add looks like this forum is displaying some.... look below.
Affiliate marketing: Thius is where you go to clickbank, sign up and obtain your unique ID. You then have a choice to promote one of 10 000 + products. When you have chosen one you then create a hoplink containing your unique ID. It is this hoplink you use in your links on your site/blog. Any sales made through this will then be credited to you.
Can you be more specific what parts you are having trouble with? then we can help the best we can. Dont get disheartened thats were many people go wrong.

That's right it is where many people go wrong; when they allow IM to get them discouraged or disheartened. It can take some time to make money online especially on a consistent basis. Sonni

You need to either incorporate Adsense or affiliate marketing links into the content on your blog. That's the two ways to make money. Both are free to get started with.
For Adsense, go to adsense.google.com and set up an account. There are some tutorials there that will help you place the code in your blog so the ads will show. When someone comes to your site and clicks an ad, you will earn money.
For Affiliate marketing, you can start by signing up at Clickbank.com. There are tons of other affiliate programs, just do a Google search for them. To promote a certain product through Clickbank, you will need to create a hoplink with your specific ID in it. If someone purchases the item from your link, you will earn money.
You also need to drive traffic to your blogs. There are many free methods of doing this (article marketing, free ads, forum posting, etc.) Profit Lance goes over these in great detail.
Hope that helps!

martin, afraid everything that makes real money takes a little time. I'm new to work at home and just started learning like you. The site I joined is an 8 week program that allows you to make some cash while you learn. Just remember it takes time ans don't give up!

Hi Victoria, I'm still plugging away studying, researching and working on a new blog. That's the only way to learn is find it, learn it, implement it. At least for me I hope all is well with you. Sonni

Hey christm, hang in there. It's just been a week, you can't really expect to make money already. The learning curve is steep and it will take time to get there.
I will disagree with some people here and say that if you're new stay far away from adsense. Adsense is not as easy as putting up ads on a blog and waiting for the cash to roll in. You can do that but your adsense will be priced and you'll get low paying clicks. Same for adwords, I wouldn't go there at first.
Remember the most important thing, whatever you do you have to get traffic. Without traffic you'll be dead in the water.
Good luck.

I have to agree with dreamy on the adsense part - and/or adwords... it simply will take a lot of time and a ton of traffic to your sites to make any money with that.
I am not with PL but from what I have gathered, they teach you how to market online, so to speak.
Anything takes time and you have gotten some excellent advice here - just remember that there are many free ways to learn online marketing as well so don't be afraid to plug into some of the free stuff as that way you will have more than one program to help you on the way.
I personally think think if you are learning to market stuff online whether it be affilliate links, or adsense or whatever, you can make more money with a home biz but then that is just my two cents worth.
It's ALL marketing - so pick something you can make a good commission on and go for it.
Good luck! Viola

Hi, I dont think you can get through all of the profit lance material in one week. I think you have to give it more time, and absorb more information from the course. Remember to only focus on one thing at a time when you get started. Don't make too many blogs, I'd just stick to one and focus on that, or you might be overwhelmed. If you want, I can look at your blog and tell you how to improve it.
