That's great news Jay. I guess we just write in that we would like the new stuff to the shipping centre. I just tried calling you back from your message as it has been a hectic weekend but just now realize you are busy with the event.
I of course want to be serious and successful but it does take time to transition from one full-time business to another as I still need an income while I am learning this new business. Hopefully I'll be at next year's event.

Jay, thanks it was a good call last night.
Jay, how did the people who said they were on the Coastal "Leadership Council" obtain that status?
How many are on the Leadership council? And why isn't there a list of their names?
Thank you!
Terri

Hi Terri,
Those of us on the leadership council are nominated and voted in by the board of directors. Just as Scot mentions on some of his calls...he asked how to become a part of the Board of Directors, several years ago - I asked about being a part of the Coastal Vacations Leadership.
Each sale you send in to the shipping center has your information on it and the shipping center does keep notes. I've been interviewed twice on the Monday Night calls.
If this is a direction you wish to go in it's going to be important that you attend the Official Coastal Events.

Jay, no I was just curious, I thought it had to do with sales, like $100,000 or more. I do know someone I would nominate if the person would want it.

Hello Terri
it used to be that you had to sell 100 packages then you could apply to the leadership council (used to be called board of directors)to be added to the board.
I am not sure if the 100 sales rule still applies.
It is a voluntary position. They also want the person applying to use the official coastal website systems and attend the seminars.
I think Jay can add to this thread as he is on the board and from what I have seen is no longer using the synergy websites, maybe for the reason above?
I know that Al asked me to be interviewed on the Monday nights call, albeit a long time ago ........so if you have something to share I know they can always make a spot for you.
Is this where you would like to see yourself Terri?
I have another couple in my group who are aiming to join the council...
Hope this helps Maria

Maria, thanks but no I was thinking of you! I would very much nominate you!
But that said I can't wait till I sell 100 packages, motivation? Not to be on leadership council necessary but to pay for foundation repair on our home for the SECOND time!
Seriously Maria, I nominate YOU for leadership council because you definitely have leadership abilities, and I can attest to that!

I met the 100 membership sales a long time ago. You can ask to be a part, but you must also participate as well. Giving testimonials and attending events is important.
Leaving the CSG has nothing to do becoming a part of the advisory council. I left the csg before I was asked to join the advisory council.
I left the CSG because it had changed over the two and a half years I was a part. It started as a great support group, but has grown into a BIG profit center for it's owners. I didn't agree with the $99 activation fee when it was started ( and I spoke out about that), the training became too confusing for new people, the people training at the events didn't have the experience to really train, the q and a schedule was changed to require more people to sign up for their global theatre system, and every time the wind blew it was an opportunity to sell something to CSG members. But, the final straw was when the CSG quit providing official Coastal Information to their members.
Their members are not given important information about Coastal Vacations, like how to attend the official coastal q and a calls. They do not share the recorded q and a numbers. They do not let their members know about official coastal trainings.
I became successful because I stayed plugged into the official coastal calls and trainings.
