I just got off the phone with one of my team members and our conversation prompted me to write this post.
If you are new to Coastal Vacations, one of the *most important things* you must do is activate, explore and use your package. It is really only in this way that you will learn the true tremendous value of your purchase.
When you get your activated cards and booklets - visit the websites! Read the brochures! You will learn for yourself - and for your prospects - exactly how comprehensive the contents are. The discounts are everywhere, at many levels. It is impossible to list them all, you must explore them for yourself.
Spend a few dollars to activate three or four of the vacations. You don't have to use them yourself (giving them away is a great method to get the word out!) but you will see with your own eyes how the system works. This will answer many of your questions right away - and they will be a deductible business expense!
Take a vacation - or be sure to use your discount cards for ANY travel that may come up. If you're not going out of town, look for a restaurant discount with the dining card or go play golf.
Build your own portfolio of experiences to share. You will gain knowledge and experience with Coastal that will give you the security to recommend it well to others and the enjoyment of the fun you will have.

Tonya I couldn't agree more. In fact, in my manual one of the things I recommend is that you take a vacations within 90 days of getting your membership.
I personally buy $500 worth of certificates each year to use as gifts and donation to charity.
We do have A BUNCH of value in our membership - you simply have to learn about it and use it.

It would seem saying this is a no brainer but time and time again we have to repeat it. Would any of you go to a dentist that knew nothing about dentristry? Of course not. But many thing they can sell a travel package and not know about travel. I get it all the time as well in training. I encourage everyone to get on the training calls, activate a few vacations and learn your product. It makes goos business sense.
