This is regarding the Can-Spam Compliance Act:
I finally got an email campaign set up, sent a test message to myself and noticed that the email I received did not contain the required contact information and unsubscribe option (not 100% sure what the law is...)
Did I miss something in the set-up or is ContactMate not designed to be Can-Spam Compliant.
(I can add my personal contact info, but I am concerned that there is not an unsubscribe link.)
Thanks,
Dawn

Hi Dawn,
It's not designed to be a spamming tool. You should have everyone's ip address if you run into an issue. Your simply emailing a response...not adding to a massive autoresponder.

Dawn, If you have the leads info, which you will if you buy leads, it will not be spam. They agreed to get the info.

Dawn I have had no issues with adhering to the policies (Can Spam). I simply paste a memo at the very top of the Email that . "NOTICE: BELOW IS THE INFORMATION YOU REQUESTED. THIS IS NOT SPAM. TO REMOVE YOURSELF FROM OUR LIST AT ANY TIME, SIMPLY REPLY TO THIS EMAIL WITH UNSUBSCRIBE IN THE SUBJECT LINE" There was one occasion that my service provider got a complaint against me regarding this campaign. I showed him the Email with this at the top and he said that I was complying with all the rules. The complaint was dismissed. I work with shaw as my service provider.

Hey guys a quick question. If you had to chose between using Contact Talk as your contact manager and the auto responders and systems of the CSG or the COA system which would you use and why? I think Contact Talk is a viable option for 2 reasons the cost and the phone feature. Id love to hear the feedback.

Hey Adam,
I'm primarily using ContactTalk. I like it as I can make calls AND email using my own pc. I've got more control over how it works and it's simply to use.
The support department has been awsome to work with as well, which is VERY important when your using technology tools.
The system will come with a pre-programed campaign, but I recommend you re-write it without the attached audios as they are not required and will take longer to send out emails.
