We went to London and Rome last year, it was phenominal. Talk about cramped spaces when we got to the hotel in Rome I thought that they were kidding, the room was the size of a clothes closet with NO exageration, I complained and got a "larger" room the next day, yeh right, larger all right, the size of a larger closet
BUT all in all I loved London England, and all the sites and sounds I just read about or saw on TV, Stonehenge, the Crown jewels, shopping at Harrods, and than we went on a bus to the countryside and Bath England, I was hoping I would get a glimpse of ex- PM Blair at Parliament , it was just fantastic.
In Rome the highlight was the Vatican and seeing the Pope. Plus going on the train to Florence and riding in a sightseeing Mercedes van to Tuscany, and having wine and bread in a Villa in Tuscany overlooking miles of olive trees. I mean it was the most spectacular vacation of my life.
Sigh........

I am so glad to hear you all succeding in Coastal. I looked into Coastal and wanted to join but i just cannot afford it right now. So i went ahead and joined Traverus Travel (a little cheaper to get started in). I plan on joing coastal and working both. My upline does this and does well at it. The postive side about working both is with Traverus you receive your residual plus commision and with Coastal its like receiving a bonus check. These both ran together make for a nice check each month. We offer one of the best compensation plans avaliable. I cannot wait to run Coastal along side Traverus.

Travelagent welcome to the fold. We encourage you to continue to grow in your opportunity. The travel industry is huge and there are so many great opportunities out there. I applaud your for looking to expand you horizons. My wife and I had 3 major travel options in our business. One for the traveler that is looking for a membership to get discounts on travel forever. I call this our "Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's option". You buy a membership and get discounts from then on. Just like with those clubs. The second option is our travel agent program. Thats pretty self explanatory. The third option is our vacation certificate option. We had a supplier but are looking to replace them. By having these options we have a solution for any perspective client. I look forward to hearing more from you here as well as you learning as much as you can about Coastal Vacations.

I can remember a time when my son and I were able to go to the beach and sit on the warm sand, listen to the sounds of the ocean, watch the sailboats off in the distance, now that was the most relaxed I ever was, there is nothing like a beach vacation to me, but that's just me.
Now my husband and I and our family can enjoy a beach vacation again and again.
I love a product that I can offer that makes people feel good and its legit.

WHY COASTAL VACATIONS VS OTHER HOME BASED BUSINESSES
1- High commissions in Coastal $1000- $9705 2- Full training 3- Ability to do it completely online 4- You get paid upfront no waiting for a commission check 5- No monthly qualifications 6- It's in travel ( who doesnt want to go to Disney?) 7- Proven success record ( a member of Coastal has been featured in the HBC magazine every month for like 3 years now) 8- Its the gift that keeps giving with its unlimited taxes only vacations
These are a few of the reason I made the decision to be in Coastal. If you wish to learn more then contact the person who invited you to look at Coastal or contact me directly so I can GUIDE you through all of the information.

Today is Sunday and you have landed in the Work-At-Home-Forum. This is not by chance. Coastal Vacations is one of the best home based businesses you can get involved with. It has all the tools for you to succeed. On this forum you will hear from many different directors from various groups. Let me clear a few things up for you. Each and every group is a group within the bigger circle which is Coastal Vacations. They were all created as we are independent business owners that wanted to create systems to help our teams. The bottomline is everyone is trying to make this business turnkey and something everyone can follow and be good at.
I know that anyone can be prosperous in Coastal by understanding a few things. First that we have a great product. Travel sells itself. Second we have a system in place that will explain the business and the product to our potential clients and allow you to earn as you learn. This system is our website and live conference calls. They have been put together to make it so on your first day you can guide someone through the information. This levels the playing field. Now of course some directors will have more knowledge than others but even if you dont have a seasoned director you can do well by plugging into the system and using it to become knowledgable.
I hope that you decide to join me and my team in Coastal Vacations but I first suggest you get back to the person that first introduced you to Coastal and give them a chance to guide you through the information. You will see that this business is for everyone.
If you do a little research on Coastal and dont understand something I am always open to answering questions. You can contact myself or any of the directors that post here by clicking on the little icon that looks like a letter under our names. That is our new IM feature that our forum director Vishal has added to this great forum. Let's talk soon and good luck in your business venture with Coastal.

Coastal vacations is the most comprehensive vacation package on the market in my opinion. If you are new to the travel industry and want unparalleled value as well as the ability to earn from $1000-$9705 on a single transaction then this is a no-brainer. The average vacation for a family of four for a week most definitely runs more that $1295. Thats the entry level price of the Coastal Package and thats for a lifetime of vacations.
I meet a family of 6 in Disney that came from London and stayed in a hotel suite for almost 10k. Now we were in a 5 bedroom home that slept 12 and we paid $735 total. We split the cost between 9 people so we all spent about $83 a piece. I know of people getting deals of 3 days and 2 night in hotels for under $15. This is amazing. You can even look at those deals by going to www.coastalproof(dot)com and seeing for yourself.
Coastal in my opinion has the best combination of value and the ability to make money in the travel industry. Yes there are many others out there and I have a few of their programs under my business umbrella as well but id have to say my ace in the hole is Coastal.

Adam,
You've presented a very strong case in favor of Coastal. I had no idea that it was that good.
Is a level III director a person that has filled his entire third tier?

Today I woke up and was thankful for being in Coastal Vacations. I didnt have to commute like all of my neighbors and fight traffic. No office politics, no bosses no quotas. Is that something you would enjoy? I know that many of us in the Coastal Vacation business opportunity live this dream.
Here are the facts:
1- We are in the travel industry and everyone loves travel. 2- We make $1000- $9705 on every transaction 3- We show people how to gain control of their lives 4- We have an automated system that anyone can follow
For the many of us that have gotten started these are some of the reasons. There are so many more and I could make a list that went on for days. I suggest everyone contact the person that referred them to Coastal and get their questions answered. If you dont have a director then give me a call and lets map out a game plan. Ive been in the home based arena for 20 years and full time in Coastal for 2 1/2 years. This is in my opinion the best opportunity ive come across.

Thank you for the great post!
There are not good and bad teams with Coastal. The only bad ones are the ones who bash others. Everybody does business any way they want and with anyone they want.
Let's be a big Coastal family and learn from each other!

I did find out, that it is, "The Right" of each independent Director to exact every dollar of every sale, until the 2 Training Sales at the level of entry are complete. I found out this is Common in Coastal. So, it is NOT bad form.
That was the way it was orginally set up. Some groups & Directors have evolved there practices.
Which are still, in Ethical Policy Standards in accordance to the BOD as long as 2 Training sales are completed at Level of Entry to Receive that Level of Directorship. (ex. 2 Level 3 sales to obtain Platinum Directorship or 2 Level 2 sales to obtain Premier Directorship or 2 Level 1 sales to obtain Level 1 Directorship)
Maybe that's why I was drawn to the CWB... Because with the Accelerated Director's Program that we practice.
Which allows our New Associates to put money back into their pockets immediately and start building a Team, thus becoming a Leader and setting us up for Success.
This program was put together with a Pay it Forward Attitude.
There is an Abundance of Wealth in our Coastal Business. I'm glad to be Sharing the Wealth! Have a Blessed Weekend everyone.

To new prospects looking at Coastal Vacations I have a few suggestions. Now understand these are only my opinions but I will say that I have been full time in Coastal for 2 1/2 now and my wife and I were featured in the HBC Magazine in May 2006. This doesnt make me any better than any other director it does say I was recognized by my peers as being a leader.
1- Learn your product
This might sound daunting but we have weekly trainings as well as websites that do alot of the training for you. If you can guide someone to information be rest assured the info is there for you.
Learn how to advertise
No customers means no business. You must learn to find where your target market is and let yourself been seen there. Now if you arent an expert dont worry. We have companies that will provide you customer ( at a cost of course ) as well as many directors and teams have tools in place.
Learn to be a student
Take a student mentality. When you stop learning you stop growing. There is so much to learn from so many people in this business so get your pad ready.
Take action now
Get started asap. We made over 10k in our first 7 weeks because we took action. We didnt have the money lying around but we took action to get started and the wheels started moving. An object in motion will stay in motion unless something stops it.
Get back to the website of the person that referred you to Coastal and read it thoroughly. Write down your questions and call them asap. Get those questions answered and get started. If you dont have anyone that referred you then read through the forum and if you like give me or any of the other directors here a buzz so we can show you how to be as successful as you want to be here with Coastal.

Welcome to our little place on the web. If you are looking at Coastal Vacations you are in one of the best places to get the information. On this forum you will hear from many successful directors and learn a great deal. Let me give you a few of my tips.
First off understand no matter what director you pick, this business is about you. Many of us have ton's to offer in terms of experience as well as incentives to get you to start with us. But remember our success doesnt not mean you will be successful. This is about you. What are you willing to do to succeed?
Here is a checklist of what you should do:
1- Go back to the website of the person who referred you to Coastal.
You are about to invest anywhere from $1295 - $11000. Doesnt that warrant getting all the information?
Write down your questions?
All of the directors here are business owners and should be treated that way. If you were about to meet Donald Trump would you be prepared? Of course you would so treat your director with the same respect.
Be open to learning
I understand you might be a superstar in your line of work but you are not a qualified director in Coastal Vacations yet. Maybe you might have more business skills that your director but you still havent done what they have as of yet so respect that.
Get the inforamtion and make a decision and a plan
Maybe this isnt for you. If it isnt kindly thank the person who showed it to you. Ask them if they have a referral plan. I pay a referral fee to prospect that dont get started but know others that might want the package or opportunity. If I make a sale we both win. If it is for you and you have the money to get started then do so asap. And do it at the highest level you can afford. If you dont have the money then make a real plan on how to get it and be honest with the person about that plan. Understand they will still be willing to help you but they owe the bulk of their training time to those that have paid to get started. If imagine if you had invested $11000 and your director didnt train you but rather was spending the bulk of their time training someone that didnt invest. How would that make you feel?
I hope this helps you get started in Coastal Vacations. If you have a director then get back to them. If not myself as well as many others are more than willing to guide you through the steps to determine if Coastal Vacations is right for you.

Quoting: jdejvet I can't tell you how hard it is to make phone calls with kids shouting in the background and maintain a certain level of professionalism! LOL
Hello Jennifer!
Welcome back to COASTAL! Do I ever HEAR you on that one! I'm a single mom to a very LOUD 2 year old, and started my business just over a year ago. HORRORS- she starting boycotting naps about 6 months ago.
I'll tell you this- it keeps it REAL! I am working my business as a full time mom, from HOME. I am professional- always. But, fact is- she is often heard. There is the thing- yup, it is often a very big challenge. But, I see it this way- if the person I am talking to doesn't appreciate my reasons for wanting to work my business, and see that I am a professional person WITH child- chances are, I don't want to be working with them in the long term. For me, its all about long term- not just making the first sale.
So- for all of you parents out there- YOU CAN be successful WITH your children present! Its all about working with the right people in the first place and having very good time management skills. An emergency tool box of amusing things for your little ones, and a home office set off somewhere more private- that helps too!
I just love that this is truly a family friendly business. We all have our "WHYS", just some of them demand a bit more of our constant attention.
Wishing you SUCCESS!
Jani

This is a very important thing about the business. You make your own rules. Now, I will tell you that my daughter has her time and she knows what to do when I'm on the phone....but she's 9. The beauty of this business is that you can make a full time income with part-time efforts with the right training and support in place.
I ALWAYS treat each person I speak with as a person I'm interviewing for a very important position with my company and I ask myself, does this person seem to be like the type of person I can work with 10 years from now. The way I see it, we will be partners and business partners are much like a marriage - so it's important that you look at the long term picture.

Jay that is HILARIOUS! I see it the very same way...
I started my blog the other day- in response to innocent assumptions the first entry is entitled:
"NO, we aren't married, and I am NOT a stalker!!!" (erm... long story)
Its a great analogy- I become very close with my team members as well, on that emotional kind of level too. Its truly such a blessing to love what we do and love who we have the honour and pleasure of doing it WITH!
Cheers

Are you a new prospect looking at Coastal Vacations? Well welcome to our little space on the internet. You are at one of the most active forums on Coastal Vacations out there. You will find reps from just about each and every team in Coastal Vacations.
Let me introduce myself. Im a former CSG Leadership Board member and current Level III Coastal director now using the "official" coastal system. I say official as there are many systems out there with each having their merits. The system I use is the one created by the Coastal Vacations Board of Directors so its kind of like getting the info from the horses mouth.
I have a few thoughts on what you should do. First do your research. Go back to the site of the people that referred you here and read the Coastal Profile. This will explain the product as well as the business. The go to coastalproof(dot)com and look at a website with many of the receipts our members have provided from using their packages.
After doing that you should have enough info to really make a decision on this opportunity. If by any chance you dont have a director then be sure to contact me so we can talk in length about what you are looking for and if im the director to help you achieve it.
Coastal is a great opportunity so dont delay. Do your research and get started asap.

Hi, Having read up on Coastal I am confronted with this question, Could it work living in the UK... Trying to understand the packages, it seems like the majority of it is based in the US, even the Lvl 2 'International' Package. I have yet to come accross anyone working coastal in europe. I am certainly interested. - But at the moment it seems that if I were to start, most of the systems/prospects are all US based, and also due to the travel oppertunities primarily existing in US it would be more difficult to promote/market. Any wisdom would be appreciated. Thx.
