It's wise to keep politics out of this forum and continue it's purpose which is to help people Jani!

Jani you exemplify, through your posts, that which Coastal ought to strive to be: straight, caring, excellence in your work, etc. and I salute you.
Coastal's future depends on those qualities.
The fact that it's open to all, the good and the dubious is OK, we all deserve a chance.
But unless the members, themselves, keep their work to the high standars that a solid and successful group has to adhere... well, you all know what'll happen in time.
Coastal success depends entirely on its members good working ethics more so than on what it sells. There have been many others with cheaper and perhaps better products...but where are they now?
Coastal Board of Directors is the only body that the members have to back them up, to keep Coastal going, to make changes for the benefit of all, they invest their time, energy, their good will, etc. .. The idea of organize Coastal the way it is, is brilliant. Members should be happy to be a part of such an organization. They (BOD), like all members, are not perfect.
Members have to be careful not to stain the good name of this great deal. It is a pretty good thing going on here. This laissez- faire should be something to make the organization better and better in every way. Members are talented and free to use that acumen, however in a positive way. The "All is fair in love and war" has been used as an excuse, to commit unfair and malicious acts (just look at today's or yesterda's, etc. papers). I, like any member am not "Holier Than Thou" but in the case of Coastal I dare to summit a very down to earth and practical saying: "DON'T ROCK THE BOAT"...THERE IS A GOOD THING GOING ON HERE!... Bless all! Joe

You're right Joe as members we are not perfect, we can all make errors in judgement and we live by our actions. There have been previous posts made by some and defended by others - who unnecessarily put down other groups which we all know isn't right but it is a reality and it is regrettable to know it will likely happen again. It's a deficiency in human nature.
Your connection with my statement of "All is fair in love and war" and me committing unfair and malicious acts is presumptuous at best and I resent your offensive comments. After making your statement then concluding your post with "Bless all" reflects a holier than thou attitude, something you claim you do not have. As you say, we are not perfect.
As you may be aware, I have been with Coastal for almost a year full time and there are enough Directors and team members in this forum alone who will attest to my giving nature when I have nothing to gain from helping them.
I get many calls from people, including you Joe, who are looking into the Coastal opportunity. I don't shower prospects with unfair, malicious or ridiculous claims nor do I try to manipulate them into joining. It's in our best interests to keep our own, and the Association's, integrity intact. I will tell it like it is and that is with some consistent effort you can make a great living with Coastal which I believe to be the best home business out there.
While we all have a right to post our opinions it concerns me when new members assume too much, too quickly. Having said this, if you have just joined Coastal, welcome aboard. I know you have had success in a previous life Joe so I'm sure that will continue.

Hi Roger,
I don't think Joe was referring to you at all - I believe he was saying that the statement "All is fair..." has been used in many instances *outside of Coastal* to justify bad behavior. That's why he mentioned the newspapers.
We all know that you're one of the most pleasant and helpful members of the forum, Roger!

Hi Joe, I did as you suggested and re-read your post and I have to admit I come to the same conclusion but it doesn't matter 'cause it's not worth anymore energy, let's be friends.
Roger NB - isn't it interesting we made our last posts at exactly the same time??

Thank-you Joe. You did not have to do that, and I appreciate it very much.
I completely agree with you- it is best to be mindful of not only our future but the long term best interests of ALL concerned. You are bang on- its a GREAT deal- not only amazing sales on travel but a life changing opportunity, literally- in SO many ways!
I'm not the only one here who can honestly say they have been blessed. I'm grateful for what every good intended person here contributes to the community of the whole.
Happy Mothers Day Everyone!

Hi Terri, You forgot to mention my Congressional medal of honor I received in '93 for my brave work in the Galapogos Islands. How come you didn't say anything about my heroic feats during the NASA expedition to Mars? That's okay we won't talk about that......thanks for the nice words, you sure you and my mum aren't related? Um, that's not to say you are the same age as my mum, ok I'll shut up now.

You have been to the Galapagos? Its on my list of goals.. when Matia is older. She is part equadorian, I've always been fascinated with natural selection and the wonders of nature!
I would LOVE to hear about your experience, do you have pics?
I realize you where joking, mind you.. but I would LOVE to know if you were there! Its always been a huge fascination of mine!
Cheers

I'm glad you knew I was joking Jani Teeter (I was starting to wonder you crazy kiddo you). I've been to many parts of this beautiful planet of ours, Europe (I was in Italy a couple of weeks ago), north Africa, Asia and Latin America but I can't say I've been to the Galapogos just yet....... but Mars was nice.

Yep.. you are from mars.. the fairer sex from Venus!
Let me know if you make it to the Galapagos before I do! I'm planning on it when sunshine here is old enough to appreciate and remember it!
Italy is lovely... great food, great culture, great history, great art, wonderful old world craftsmanship. Don't get me started on the SHOES! I think its a toss up between tuscany and provence for me as most suitable places on the planet to die a happy woman!
tee hee.. doesn't take much for me now, does it?!
haha
Still crazy.. Mama NUTS! You hit the nail on the head there, my silver tongued friend!
