Has anyone had any experience with The Coastal Success Team?
This seems more like a coaching opportunity than the actual biz opportunity but I could be wrong.

Hi there, I believe this group is a part of the CSG, one of many groups within Coastal. I'm sure someone here will be able to help you Mdmom.
Good luck!

Hi!
I'm part of the success team! Glad to help! Yes, Roger is right, it is a group within the CSG! It is a small group of us that gets together and shares our knowledge of expertise. We do volounteer to speak, etc.. The idea is to develop ourselves as leaders and come up with solutions for our businesses while helping our collegues do the same. We are hand selected, you must be referred by your director who is also a member to apply. It is complimenatary to join, but you must be willing to follow through and be goal orientated. We truly are "the best of the best" within Coastal, and we have a lot of fun! There are several closed session meetings a week..
Recently we finished up a 10 week lecture series, named the "millionaire mindset intensive". We had 9 speakers that were successful and well known entrepreneurs come in to speak about different topics. That session was open to the public, and anyone from any business was welcome, as it was not coastal or csg specific. I was blessed to be selected as one of the final session summary speakers. I'm happy to send anyone the recordings of that series via email who asks.
I hope that helps!

I'm headed that way myself. My goal is to get stable in stage 3 of my business and then volounteer on the leadership to help others get there too! I'm ever so very grateful for all the fine people at the CSG does for us, and I want to do my part as well.
Keep up the great work, I know you will get there if you want to!

Hi Robert!
Have you checked out the ADDP training in your back office yet? I HIGHLY recommend that series!
The short answer is that stage 3 is where you are no longer doing any prospecting, but simply helping your team to get their training off the groud. The business truly takes on "a life of its own" and starts to catapult. This is when you are in stage 3! So, to get there more efficiently, this is why I believe you must carefully build your foundational team by attracting and choosing people who resonate with your ideals and philosophy, so they in turn will bring in other quality people.
Does that help clarify?
Cheers

Jani is right, the ADDP training in the back office is great!!
I listened to it, and it changed my whole perspective of how I was doing everything, it is really good....
The 3 stages are prospecting, team building, and training....You go from prospecting on your own (Stage 1), to building your team, helping them train, and still prospecting a little (stage 2) and then step into training your team only!! (stage 3)

Hi Jani: That does clarify things. I just read about the Accelerated Director Development Program (ADDP) 12 week intensive training series. That sounds fantastic! I'd better get going on stage one.
Thank You to everyone, for all the encouragement
Take Care, Robert

You bet Robert! I believe that like attracts like, and its win-win-win all around!
I remember listening to that ADDP series LIVE well before I actually managed to start my own business. It inspired me more then I can tell you. Not to mention making all aspects of this business crystal clear and easy to both understand and quantify. It is literally a step by step blueprint for success from the best in the business. Have a wonderful time with it! I still re-listen to those recordings, and get something new out of them everytime. Its almost like magic!
Cheers

I agree, I am enjoying the recodings they truly are inspiring. How long did it take on the average to get a new person their two sales?

I don't know much about the success team, but I can tell you about something more important...Productivity.
You don't get paid for mindset workshops, you are paid for selling Coastal Memberships.
It's fun to get together and have social hours, but I've got to tell you I know ALOT of Coastal Directors who are HIGH on group activities and low on income.
Here's a tip...at the end of a training call, if there's a pitch - it was all about selling someone something, and the people who put together the call generally are getting a piece of the action.

Jan,
Excellent post! I think several Dir just want to 'look' important for they own purpuse or weakness. Most of us don't need to much training. The easiest business you can make money with + get some cheap travel.
cw P.s. My site is PR3 now!!!!

Hi Jay!
I can clarify a bit.. as I am a member of the Success Team!
First of all, the MMI series was open to the public. In other words, anyone interested in working on their mindset. It is considered extra-curricular personal development. As we all know, your business will only grow as much as YOU do. So, it helps to hear from people who have acheived millionaire status directly, and learn what their mindset, thoughts and personal habits are.
Second, to be a member of the success team and attend the regular closed meetings one must make a commitment to contribute, participate, help support and MOST importantly TAKE ACTION to become a leader in this business. People must show a commitment to become 6 figure earners in 6-12 months. To apply, you must be referred by an existing success team member.
The closed meetings are great! We brainstorm, learn new techniques etc etc. We, as members submit topic ideas, contribute and most importantly, PARTICIPATE. Active learning, and we take whatever ideas or knowledge we gain and put in into practice to produce those 6 figure RESULTS!!
As for having "pitches" at the end of a presentation.. seems to me that is what marketing is all about. Common format for the CSG special presentations as well. I personally have no problem with presenters and organizers being paid for their valuable time, PROVIDED that they over deliver in both their presentation and the product they are marketing. The good ones DO- and if the presentation has resonated with me and provided me with value- then I have no problem with the idea of investing in myself to further my skills, abilities and knowledge.
Quoting: cashwealth I think several Dir just want to 'look' important for they own purpuse or weakness. Most of us don't need to much training. The easiest business you can make money with + get some cheap travel.
Personally, I can't thank Annette for going above and beyond. She is one of the most hard working, genuine, ethical, giving and talented directors I know. I have learned and grown so much, thanks to her doing what she does! I know that the creation of the success team was a major leap for her, and I am very proud to bear witness to what she has accomplished and given back to so many others in this business. Heck, there was even WCYS members listening to those trainings, I think that says something!
Yes, this is an easy business and anyone regardless of background and experience can do it easily and well and have 6 figure or better success. But to say that most of us dont need much training is to cut people short. Personally, I believe that no matter how good you are, you can learn, grow and improve upon your skills. If your site is now PR3, I know that is not an easy accomplishment. Somewhere you have actually LEARNED seo and marketing skills. Where your focus goes, energy flows and results show! No?
Just thought I would try to clear that up~!
