Wow, this whole Coastal Vacations thing has got me infatuated. I have been reading every post basically all day. I have seen Coastal Vacations advertising before but never thought much of it. Just thought it was another scam.
However, after reading everyone's posts in here I am very interested in joining up. Everyone seems like they are genuine people out to help you succeed. I never thought this existed for Internet Marketing until I started reading everyone's posts.
I would like to learn more about the different teams that are out there and see what would be the best fit for me.
Another thing, what are the exact vacation packages you guys sell? I have done some research online and haven't been able to find the travel packages you guys say you are selling.
Looking forward to your responses.

YES Janet! We are real!
First of all, we all sell the very same packages. They are VERY extensive, so hop on a website to get full details. Doesn't matter the group you choose.
There are MANY groups to choose from. In addition as we are all independant business owners there are several independant directors. You will find directors to be "specialized" in different things. For example online vs offline marketing and retail vs business building.
I thought coastal vacations was a scam too! In fact, I researched it and researched it for nearly 2 years before I finally got started!
The major groups are:
Call centres (2 as far as I am aware at the moment) The one featured most often here is the We close your sales group.
The Coastal Synergy Group (my group, and my understanding is one of the oldest and largest offshots of the original BOD group-known online as the COA network)
The Coastal Weath Builders- an offshoot of the CSG
I'm sure you will read online here that the VERY best thing to do is your homework. Call around, do your homework and interview directors very carefully. Find someone that really fits with you. Ask the hard questions, and do not stop until you get the answers!
You will find many exceptional directors (who are also average everyday people) and unfortunately some not so great ones. I'm sure you know not to read everything you read online- so check the facts out yourself. I assure you, well worth the effort! At the end of the day, most of us are decent and ethical and everyone I know is positive and has LOTS of fun!
Coastal is the second best thing that happened to me without a doubt. (the first is my daughter xoxoxo)
Best wishes for your due diligence. Click on the signature links to see peoples websites. Many of them have personal stories, that should help you make a shortlist of whom you wish to speak to in greater detail!
oh- ps-- if you don't know this already, whenever you are asked to enter your email and so forth, that becomes a contact record. SO, I suggest using a web based email if you don't want a lot of autoresponder messages in your personal mail! Most sites require you to enter that information to enter them. Just be prepared! Its not a bad thing, but it can rather clutter up your inbox! Just while you are sorting things out and getting your due diligence done, that is my recommendation!
Cheers
Jani Teeter L3 Director, CSG

Hi Janet, I am a member of the WeCloseYourSales group and it's really working great for my and my team. As Jani said, we are just another group within the Coastal Family. One thing I would suggest is ask your potential director for references. If that person is a new member themselves then ask for their directors number and talk to him/her and see if you are compatible with them because they will end up being your director anyway. Many of the members on this forum are with the call center but there are also members of CSG(Coastal Synergy Group) and Coastal Wealth Builders which are very good groups also. Just look at our websites and compare what we offer. PLEASE ask LOTS of questions. You need to know exactly what you are getting into before you take the plunge.

It's funny because my husband was the skeptical one in our family, he owned a Pharmacy and was the serious businessman so when he came home with the idea and than the package arrived I was shocked at first. Especially since he was very careful with where we spent our money, but he converted me and I am totally sold on the value of the package.
May I suggest also that regardless of the different "groups" teams etc educate yourself on marketing and advertising techniques. That will be vital to your success. Get motivational tapes and stay inspired. (The "Secret" movie is one to see and follow the principles) BECAUSE ultimately no one team, sponsor, director or group can do it for you, they can give you the tools but your success lies within YOU!
My husband immediately joined "we close your sales" team and we never regretted that decision because the training we received is invaluable which in turn helps us to get our personal business partners who join us to see the value in the program that could lead to their success.
Good luck to you I know you will do fine regardless of who you decide to join under.
Terri

Hi Jat, I'd like to add to my colleagues' posts, particularly what Terri mentions about marketing. If you're serious about the business I suggest thinking about how you would like to promote/market the product (and yourself!) and more importantly how much time you will dedicate to your business. Mentally set your goals of what you want and if you decide to go forward, write those goals down.
I also believe in asking yourself a question like "why do I want to do this?" If it's a strong enough "why" then you should go for it!
As Jani and Harold have said, click on the weblinks below and find out more about the Director you'd like to work with. If you click on my retail site [Link removed - Admin] and go to the top right hand side of the home page, you'll be able to printout/download the "printable profile" and see what's inside our Travel Packages.
Good luck! and feel free to contact me.

I agree - I thought Coastal was just another one of of those rip-offs at first. My Mother-in-law had been looking at several home businesses and she kept asking for my opinion on them. I honestly never thought about working from home becuase I thought anything like that was a scam. Anyway, after doing major research and getting my husband to look over it, we couldn't find anything wrong with it - there was no hole in the boat! So, we got started at the highest level possible and I am so glad we did!
We are part of a phenomenal group, the Coastal WealthBuilders, and we don't regret our decision at all. I have been able to quit working outside of the home and my husband has been able to take a less stressful job (By the end of the year he should be a stay-at-home Dad)! Not to mention that we have a great travel package to use for the rest of our lives
The best way to learn about the different groups is to get on the different live Q&A calls. As far as the package goes, you can check out the travel packages link on any of our websites, we all market the exact same packages. If you have questions, feel free to ask!
Good luck with your research!

Hi Jat
You are very lucky - you have a house full of successful directors!
I think the first thing you need to do is decide what group you are comfortable with.....I am sure you have read in other threads that you aren't just marketing a travel package, you are marketing a opportunity for people to make money! I think to be successful you must believe in what you are doing, and that is helping people make themselves a better life!
If you find someone that you think you like, then give them a call!
Be sure your director can fit your schedule, and is available to you. Do you work a full time job? Do you stay at home? Do you have kids? Do you travel a lot? Find someone you can relate to, and that will work for you! Find out their stories and find one that inspires you!
You must believe in what you do, it will be the way to success! You must believe in what you are telling others, they will be able to feel it!
I think that any choice that you make will be a great one!
If you are still interested in the different groups, Thomas (From we close your sales) and I (from Coastal Synergy Group) did a comparison - support, costs, compensation, and procedures. I can email them to you!
Congratulations on your decision to join Coastal!
