Hi, I'm not in the business but want to check it out. Other opportunities cost me mostly less than $100 but this one at least $1295, so what will I receive in the package for such a big investment? does it actually value that much in cash? I also want to know what is the average time for everyone here to make the first sale? sorry that the questions sound really skeptical, but I rather get myself through this than make any unclear move. Thanks for any information.

Hi JP,
Good questions and it's okay to be skeptical but to let you know after 12 years in business, we are no longer on trial and offer a legitimate opportunity for those seeking a business and a travel opportunity.

The time it takes in getting your first sale is dependent on your efforts. My firm belief is as long as you commit to your business and treat it like so, as opposed to a past time, then you will be rewarded.

It took me three weeks to get my first sale, I know others who did it in a week and others still who took more than two months. Regardless, it's up to you and there is no magic bullet! As long as you have the support and training and with a bit of faith in action, you will do fine.

Visit my retail site: www.whereshouldwegonext.com and click on the packages icon and you'll see what you get in the various travel packages.

JP,
the package itself is worth over $15,000.00 and it is a lifetime membership so you don't have to keep paying every year. You will be able to use the vouchers for the rest of your life along with the membership cards as well.

Hi JP,

The L1 package is a great value at $1295....I am currently using my cruise card to book a trip for 8 people to Alaska from Vancouver and I think I am saving about $2000.....That alone pays for the package....I booked the trip for my family - my mom and her siblings are taking my grandpa on a trip for his 80th birthday! (You can share the package with friends and family as well as use it for business incentives). The more you use it, the more you save!

A lot of people use them for marketing purposes as well - donate to fundraisers and non-profit organizations. You also mentioned that you are into other opportunities - you can use your package to promote those as well - "Complimentary Cruise for 2 to the Bahamas" is a great eye catcher.....

The initial cost of $1295 can be done in payment plans with many groups, and is a tax write-off. Plus you get the benefits of having a home business (extra tax write-offs)

As Harold mentioned above, the $1295 is a one time purchase, and good for a lifetime.....

If you are able, I would look into the premier combo - if you start at L2, you save yourself 2 training sales, plus $800.

You can visit my website as well to get more info about the opportunity and about the packages!

JP,

Here is a quick overview of what is included in the Basic (Level 1) Package:

22 Membership Cards:

Save on hotels, condos, car rental, cruises, skiing, golfing, camping, dining, tours, theme park admission, roadside assistance, and much more...

30 Bonus Vacations:

These are mini-vacations (25 vacations + 5 cruises). They start at 3 day/2 night stays. All you pay for with these vacations are the taxes and processing fees (and port fees if it is a cruise).

$2,000 Discount Airfare Discount Coupons:

Receive $25 to $100 off per ticket. Valid on most major airlines.

There are also other extras like 200 Rolls of Kodak Film and unlimited $1,000 Shopping Spree Vouchers.

Lindsay is right, the more you use your package, the more you save. And it is better to come in at the Premium level if possible. Some of the vacations in the Basic package can only be used once.

As Harold said, the package never expires - it truly is a lifetime package that is valued at $15,000!

Keep asking great questions and keep doing your research. I think you will find that this truly is an awesome deal

Your director should have a travel packages link on their website, if not, feel free to check our links out for more specifics.

JP,
To add to the great information above, you should be able to find a "printable profile" which details what's inside the travel packages on most of the Coastal websites.

On the link I gave you, you will find it on the top right hand side of the home page.

JP,

What I realize is, that this package is only a fraction of the cost of a timeshare. The vouchers seem to work similar to timeshares but your are saving thousands of dollars. The Level one package is basically travel within the United States, Canada, the Carribean, and Mexico. The level 2 package that is in combo with level 1 expands worldwide. If you love to travel this is a wonderful package.

Coastal Vacations definitely is more expensive that a lot of other home based business, but the return on your investment is much greater. It only takes about 4 sales (2 qualifying, 2 of your own) to get your money back on your investment. If you check out the compensation plan on other home based business that are cheaper to join, it takes a lot more than 4 sales to make your investment back.

Hope this is helping.

Have you called our 24/7 recorded number that might help explain things? (212) 461-8974
There is also our nightly call where you can ask questions at 212)5800 pin code 4433# at 9:00pm EST

And some of the vouchers offer a vacation with air included! For example the Bahamas fly and stay for free (some expenses apply, taxes, fees)

When you choose a director they will explain and train on how to use the items in the package plus mentor you on sales systems plus imagine having a sales center close your sales for you. That's the one we are with.

So there's is so many more benefits to buying a vacation pkg worth $15k and having the opportunity to travel at wholesale prices and the opportunity to earn $1,000 each sale of the $1295.

When you choose us as your Director
we also offer you a way to finance that pkg and to be able to earn a residual income from having the prospect finance the pkg it's an amazing program that's free to join as well that we train you to use after we become your Director.

JP,
did you get your questions answered?

There is a ton of value in the level 1 package, and even more as you move up in levels.....plus if you start at a higher level you save yourself money and training sales right off the bat!!

As for the first sale, it can take a long time.....There is a lady in our group (CSG) who is starting her 3rd year in the business....it took her 5 months to make her first sale.....but she made just over $100k in her first year, $300k in her second, and has set her goal at $600 this year.....She is also one of the founders of our Pro-hearing program - a program for the deaf and hard of hearing to work our business, and we have many of them that are very successful! Then there are others who do it in a week, and others that do it in a month......My experience with others that I have spoke to is about a month to get your release (2 sales) give or take a week....

As for cash value - look at it like this - see how much is in that package, look at the links that everyone has sent you.....now if you were to sell each and every bit of that package seperately - even to friends and family for $100 each - just from the bonus vacations in level 1 you would be able to make $3000.....you got your money back....plus some!! So ya, there is definitely the cash value there!

Hope it all helps....if you have any other questions, you can just ask, you can see we are a very helpful group!!

JP,
are you having a mental overload yet? Let me take a minute to pat the members on this forum on the back who are participating in this thread and the other Coastal threads. JP, if you are considering joining with anyone in this thread then you are going to be in good hands. Several of my own signups are on this forum such as Susan, Roger, Thomas, Shelby, Dawn, Beckie, Silvana, I'm not sure if I missed any but, I can gurantee that they would all be good choices because of the system they are using is the one I am using and I know it works because I have generated $19,000 in the last 2 months. It still blows my mind when I think about that. Also, PNL travel or Lora and the Coastal Wealth Builders group is a great team with great training. She is a dedicated director who will invest her time to help you learn how to be successful. Also, jldunn or Lindsay is with Coastal Synergy Group which is another great team that has top notch training and you would not go wrong if you chose her team. Also, Luvtravel or Terri and her husband are with our group that uses the call center. They are great folks and would be dedicated to making sure you are successful. As you can see by the post in this thread, we all know what we are talking about and all you have to do is determine which team fits your personality best if you don't already know which team you are joining. There are people on all of these teams who are making THOUSANDS of dollars a week every week so we know the groups here know how to market. The team I am with uses a call center to take calls for us. All we do is advertise and train our new members. We don't have to call leads unless we just want to do that. If you are a person who is a good communicator or you are willing to learn then you might not need to go with the call center and you can save a little money on start up fees. Lora's or Lindsay's group would be more suited for you if that is the case. They will make sure you have the right tools to make sales in their groups. No matter which team you decide to join you can always come here to ask questions and we will all be willing to help you make a good decision even if you aren't part of our specific team. Take your time and make sure you are making the right choice. That is the most important thing you can do.

hi guys,

Thanks for the information, and sure they are very helpful, however, the more is the better for someone who's doing his homework like me, so I don't mind the overload.... And definitely, I'm taking harold advice to make sure that I will choose the group that are using the method that I'm comfortable with as well as to choose my mentor carefully. Someone mentioned to me that there are some hidden fee or extra fee that different group may charge when I join them. I would like to find out that as well prior to my decision. Thanks all, again, I better take more info now than later...so you are appreciated to provide me with anything you know. You guys are great!

Good luck JP, we're happy to help!.....regarding fees other than the start up costs with the Call Center, there is only the $49.95/mth for the website and your Coastal Vacations membership has an $89/yr optional renewal fee for the membership cards (about $4 per card) plus any advertising costs you incur. I'm sure you know this already but all funds are in US dollars.

Hi JP,
Just want to let you know it does cost to activate your vacations. It can cost anywhere from $6.95 to $20.00 to activate them and they only take a cashier's check or money order. These costs are minimal compared to timeshares. I have a friend who is currently looking into timeshares. She found one on Ebay for $7000.00 with a $700.00 yearly fee, so right away you are spending at least $700.00 for your vacation. With Coastal packages these packages are lifetime and can be pass down for generations. It is much cheaper than a timeshare but just as valuable.

If you are serious about making money, Robert Kiyosaki, Loral Langmeier, Donald Trump and the other top people always say; no one person is good at everything. In the areas you aren't good, hire the best to do that work for you. A good team is a successful business.

Good luck with your research with Coastal, and don't hesitate to ask more questions.

To your success,
Susan

Now, my next question, Susan., you wrote " it does cost to activate your vacations", it means I have to pay extra fee between $6.95 to $20.00 everytime I book a trip or a vacation? and on top of that I'm only allowed to take one offer from the package each year and renew the package annually...right? isn't it a little too restricted? what if I want to travel twice a year...

Thanks
by the way, my name is Jason...nice to know you all here

Hi Jason,

I'm not Susan, but I can answer your questions for you!

There is a fee to order a vacation voucher, that fee is between $6.95 and $20.

You can order unlimited vouchers, there is no limit there. You can use them yourself or give them away any way that you would like. However, you can NOT sell the individual vouchers.

You can use the package as much as you like. There is no limit to how many times you can use your package in one year. Some of the vendors do have a "only one offer per household per year" rule, but that should not be a problem. There are over 60 vendors backing the Coastal Package. (By vendor I mean a licensed and bonded travel agent/agency)

Keep in mind that the vouchers are just part of the package. The discount cards are GREAT too!

You really should take a look at the Travel Packages link and read the Coastal Profile if you haven't done so already.

Your director should also have a proof document that you can take a look at. It shows actual receipts that people have turned in along with a comparison of what the trip would have cost without the Coastal package.

Also, be sure to get on the live calls and ask your questions. It not only gets you the answers that you need, but it also helps the others out who are looking at Coastal. If you are on a live call getting you answers, you can be sure that you are getting the most accurate information out there.

Hope this helps!

Lora

Hi Jason,
In the Level 1 Travel Package for example, you get:
25 mini holidays
5 bonus cruises
21 membership cards

To activate any of the 25 holidays (ie. 3 night/2 day getaways to Vegas, Hawaii, Florida) you would need to mail these vacation certificates to the shipping center along with $6.95 s/h for each one you would like to take. The holidays are good for life but once you send in the $6.95, it's valid for one year. You can use all 25 of them in one year, just not the same one twice! The $20 activation is for the condo stays when you order directly from the forms in your pkg and for the Carnival Cruise holidays in the Level II...bear in mind I'm only referring to the vacation certificates, you have membership cards you can use to book travel too where there isn't an activation fee; you pay more but still with considerable savings.

Jason, tonight there is a Product conference call with our Product Director Stephanie Johnson, it's at 9pm est. The number is:
(620) 294 3000 xt. 1103#

It should answer most if not all of your questions about the product. There may or may not be a Q and A because of the amount of people attending the call.

Jason,
you do have to pay the $6.95 to get the actual brochure to book your vacation and then a $20 or $25 registration fee and then $7 to $15 dollars a night for taxes. Usually that means less than $50 for a 3 day-2 night stay that would normally cost you $350. You are supposed to use only one trip per vendor- per city a year. (I think that is right) There are many vendors and hundreds of cities to choose from so you would NEVER be stuck without a place to go. It's definately worth the money spent on the package.

Hi Jason,

Let me join the others in explaining.....

Harold is right, you are only supposed to use 1 trip per vendor per city per year.....Which means you have lots of places to go in a year.

Once you get your package, you will need to order the vacation voucher from the shipping centre ($6.95 for the L1 vacations) and then book your vacation.....and pay hotel taxes only....range from $-$17/per night, depending on hotel and city....so at a high estimate....3 nights in a hotel is going to cost you $60.....

The condo vacations are a little more expensive to reserve - $20 for the reservation.....but huge discounts....you can get a condo in Africa for $270/wk....that time shares are going for $6500 and $500 yearly fee....and you still only get 1 week! (This was on our product call yesterday!!)

The other fees include the start up for the websites - CSG has 4, with the 1-800number cost $89/month, but make $10/month for everyone you sign up....or you can get the CSG-University and CSG Global online for $149/month and get $15/month for everyone you sign up......10 people on your team and your website is paid for!

Plus if you get a merchant account you must pay for that.....depending on your service provider you cost will differ, but CV is affiliated with Card Service International, and they seem to have pretty good rates, but don't apply to canadians.....Canadians I would suggest Sirqa...best rate I found.....and be careful with PayPal....

A major cost I would take into consideration is advertising.....lead generation programs, classified ads, ppc....etc.....costs can run you pretty high if your not careful!

Lindsay
