Hello, I'm from Toronto and came across Coastal Vacation opportunity. I have searched some info about it and there are some goods and bads. I am still not clearly understood of how this entire system work. I'm looking at it with some interest and want to know more about this "work at home" as it sounds like what I'd like to try ( if it really is ?!!). I noticed that you need to have a coach, a mentor or a director who will help you through the business, anyone from Toronto has been or is in this? I hope you can give me some info about this. Thanks

Hi Roger,
I've heard you all talking about Call Centre. Can you give me some idea about how it works? someone saying about joining in the program through call centre instead of through a mentor, how is that work? I also heard people mentioning about advertise with call centre, is there only one call centre for the entire system or different call centres for each team?
I know that you will make money when you make a sale, do you earn money when your team members under you make a sale?
Thanks JP

Hi,
When you sign up with Coastal, the person that you sign up under (perhaps through their website) becomes your director. Your director gets your first 2 qualifying sales (by qualifying I mean the first two sales you make at the level you signed up). Your director in return will help train you to be successful at the business. It is in your director's best interest to help you be successful as that is how they will get paid, when you make those qualifying sales.
The Call Center is a great marketing tool. It does not replace a mentor or your director. The Call Center enables you to concentrate on marketing and leaving the sales part up to them. The hardest part of business is closing the sale and these people that work at The Call Center are professionals. They are not part of Coastal Vacations. They sign an agreement to not be a part of Coastal for 5 years if they quit the Call Center, so there isn't the problem of them trying to steal your sales. They make a $700.00 commission on each sale (could be more depending on the level someone joins) but your commission is the same as any other Coastal groups.
The Call Center has a website that they maintain for you at a cost of $49.95 a month. There is a back office where they have great tools that help you run your business. They track all of your sales that call the Call Center and send out autoresponders to anyone that opts into your website. They also have great training there where you can listen to recorded training calls and very helpful guidelines.
The Call Center I am with is the wecloseyoursales group. Coastal Vacations has different groups that run their business differently. Most of the other groups do the traditional 3 way calling and prospecting. With the Call Centers you mostly need to do advertising and direct people to the Call Center. This is a great way to put your business at almost an automated system. You literally could not even talk to a person until they have signed up and you start training them.
Hope this helps you out.
Susan

Hi JP,
I forgot to mention that it doesn't matter where your director lives. There really isn't a need to have to physically get together with the person. My director lives in North Carolina and I live in San Francisco. I talk to him almost daily through the computer or phone.
Hope this helps, Susan

Quoting: pcs99 Hi Roger, I've heard you all talking about Call Centre. Hi JP, Further to what Susan has written, the Call Center is a great tool to use to leverage your time. They present the business to your prospects, follow up with them and close all your sales. The key role for you is to advertise.
Most people do not like to sell and as human beings we will always choose the path of least resistance, it's in our nature (I believe we are more the same than we are different!).
But it doesn't mean you shouldn't speak to people, the Call Center just gives you more options. As well, you will still have a Director you will be working with who should provide you with guidance, support and direction. Having a Director who is a part of the Call Center is no different than having a Director who isn't; the role of the Director is the same regardless of what group you join.
The Call Center I'm a part of (We Close Your Sales) is one group of many in the Coastal Vacations family. Other groups I know of are CSG (Coastal Synergy Group) and CWB (Coastal Wealth Builders), I've heard they all employ good systems and have good leadership but our group, the Call Center, is the original and the most successful marketing arm in Coastal's history. In a span of 18 months it was announced at the last seminar we paid out $1.5 million in commissions.
Remember that Coastal is a Travel Association of Independent business owners and this is Direct Sales. In other words YOU are the business that's why it's great when people join your business - you get paid right away, no waiting for 'the company' to send you a payment!
In this type of pay structure where you get paid directly, your Director benefits from your first two sales along with the people associated with them so yes, you earn money when your team member makes his/her first two sales but it ends there. Your Director would then send your 'Director's Release' form which gives you wholesale purchase rights to the product at the level you are released at.
However, if you come in at the Premier level (most popular) you would pass up your first two Premier sales BUT you keep all the commissions from your Level 1 sales ($1000). There are three levels to start at:
Level 1 - $1,995 Level 2 - $4,995 Level 3 - $11,000
It's important to note what separates Direct Sales from network marketing and MLM (multi-level marketing) and that is only one person gets paid, there are no '7 levels deep' or 5 other people getting a little piece of the action.
Susan's right in that it doesn't matter where you live in the world, this business is a global business. But if you're serious about Coastal JP (it's apparent you are) and feel more comfortable meeting someone who is successful at it and just happens to live close by, then I will make myself available to meet you, show you our product and I'll be happy to answer your questions.

Hey CSG buddy!
I'd love to hook up next time you are in TO for coffee!
Were you by chance on the CSG-U Global tonight? Woo Hoo! Awesome! I just can't believe the technology and tools they keep coming up with!
How long have you been involved?
I'm from up north myself too, I ended up here for school. A very expensive education I now have absolutely NO NEED for! Worth it for the experience though!
Cheers
Jani
