Hello, my name is Darcy Cardinal, i am wanting into CSG, however, i wanted to know if there is any directors who can work out a special deal where i can pay one half and then pay off the rest when i do get started out. I really want to get into Coastal, just having a difficult time with the financial side, i have tried the 32 ways, havn't git very far. Thanks.

Hi Darcy,
First of all, congratulations for trying so hard to find a way to do what you feel you need to do!
There is a lot to take in when you are looking at the 30 ways. Just remember that those are all just examples of things that other people have done to come up with the money. It is best used to spark your imagination and give you some ideas that may work.
I don't know if you have thought of this, but you could always find a partner! My mother-in-law and I started our Coastal business together. You are allowed to have up to 2 names on the membership.
If you don't want to have a business partner you could always present it to someone who you know who loves travel. Then that person could have unlimited use of the package and you could have your business!

Thanks, so when we get started, we would also share the commisions? Meaning cutting it in half? Anyways, i am going to auction off some of my stuff, and then add in a loan from my grandma, as well as a weeks worth of pay from my job. I don't know how long i can hold up hear, i already owe so much on my bills and other stuff.

Darcy,
I think you are making a smart choice to save up the money and join straight out. You can find some Coastal teams that let you pay like $200 to get in and then you are supposed to advertise and make sales and you are actually making sales for the person that signed you up. When you get to something like 5 sales that director gives you a package and considers you qualified, I think. What he is hoping is that you just fall by the wayside and lose hope after you make a sale or two and he gets who ever you sign up for no advertising costs. It's always better to save the money or use a loan or credit card to join all at one time. I've even heard of a Coastal team that let's you join for $49 but you get no travel package or anything. If you are joining CSG you are getting into a good team that will take care of you. Good luck and you can always come here to ask questions.

That is exactly what we do Darcy! We split the cost of the package and we split the cost of the websites. Sometimes we split the advertising costs, sometimes we do our own ads...We always split the profit! That's what family is for!

WOO HOO DARCY!
I went and read your blog, I see that you have STARTED! I just joined and read your post. I had to creatively fund myself as well.. when i first learned about coastal 3 years ago I was on disability support and going to the food bank. Its a different world now! Thank you Coastal and the CSG- not to mention my wonderful, supportive director who included me on all her team trainings for nearly a YEAR before I got my funding together.
I don't know if you have yet noticed, but you are in VERY good company! Many of the most successful coastal people were VERY broke before they started their business. They had a very good reason for change in their life. That is what attracted them, that is why they "stuck" and that is why they are still here and smiling! =)
That is great! Welcome aboard!!! Have you heard about the CSG lady yet that got her business started by selling cheesecakes? How cool is that!
Keep up the great work and the positive attitude! Very smart keeping an online journal like that.

Hello
just wanted to introduce myself....my first post here.
I have been with coastal since 2001. Yes sometimes you just have to be creative to get into coastal, but I for one do offer a payment plan, and i know others do as well.
There are also many ways to advertise your business on a low or even non existant budget, it does take more time, but it is really possible.
Whom ever you choose should be able to teach you many ways to get your business up and running quickly and affordably.
I wish you much success in your business. Coastal makes me a consistent 6 fig income and I know in time, it will you as well.

Lion_child - That's awsome you took the plunge into Coastal. I like you blog idea. I noticed it hasn't been updated in a while. I think you should keep your readers up to date with how everything is going. If you made your first sale yet? What you have been doing to promote your buisness? etc... Look forward to seeing an update.

I must agree with Maria when she says there are free ways to advertise the really work. My last 8 or 9 sales have been totally from people signing up with me because they saw postsl I have made on forums like this one. Totally free advertising that really isn't advertising. All I did was answer questions. It works but it does take some time.

I agree.. word of mouth is the BEST advertising. That old adage is very true.
Just be yourself, help people get their questions answered. So true, that it is by helping others that you get what you want.
I so love that ability to really help people with this business. Its truly wonderful, and a very real benefit that I really don't think enough people talk about or recognize.
