everyone is so right... andyou have to apply those mentalities to everything you do, not just trying to be successful in working from home. If you apply a positive attitude to all apsects of your life you will start seeing immediate changes!
so... "when you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!!" - I can't remember who quoted that, but it's one of my faves!

Do any of you use daily mantras? One I use is;
I can be ANYTHING I want to be If I think I cannot, my mind will find excuses to ensure I cannot if I think I can, my mind will find ways to ensure that I can therefore, since I have a choice as to what to think I must only think the right thing: I CAN I CAN I CAN NOW WATCH ME FLY!
I say this out loud every morning.

I read somewhere once "you are what you think" and that is so true!

This is inspiring & true too:
"Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Choose your words, for they become actions. Understand your actions, for they become habits. Study your habits, for they will become your character. Develop your character, for it becomes your destiny." - Anonymous "Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what lies clearly at hand." - Thomas Carlyle

That is so true. I'm pretty sure it's from Napolean Hill. Also, today I read an internet marketing tip from Aaron Rashkin. It's his best internet marketing tip #7. Aaron firmly instructs not to 'wait for you ship to come in.' Internet marketers need to make things happen, not wait for things to happen. We need to get busy and stay busy. Make phone calls. Stir up action. Qualify prospects quickly and sort with accuracy. It's considered taking a 'pro-active' response to success. Now go find out!

Great advice I believe in that 100% If you Give Up you are giving up on yourself and your future.

"Never give up your dream!" - that's what Chuck Norris said in one of his interviews about 15 years ago. I'm pretty sure every famous person repeated the same phrase in one way or another, but people rarely understand what "never" really means.
The way I take it, "never" means "never-ever-ever-ever-in a million years!" It can never happen! You can not find out what would happen if you gave up your dream! This option does not exist!
We like quoting this kind of phrases, yet, having failed once or twice, changing our attitude into failure-justifying mode and we start crying about the economy not being right, or somebody being at fault, or particular business to not work, or some other external reason of our failure.
The most disgusting thing is that we tend to adjust our behavior accordingly and make wrong conclusions out of our failures. We think "I failed at this thing, therefore I have to stop doing it", when the lesson should be "I made a mistake, from which I will learn and continue trying."
There is this friend of mine who we participated in a few businesses together throughout my college years. We are still in touch, just geographically we are a half of a planet apart. So at some point when I was upside down with one of my business projects and it felt like I'm about to quit, I called him and asked, if there was a point at which an entrepreneur should admit that he just wasn't born to be successful and get a 9 to 5 job and just stop trying.
He didn't hesitate for a second and said: "That's an easy question! Never! We will never quit! We just don't do it! No matter what kind of results we are getting, we will never ever quit! If it takes us a lifetime to learn - we will spend our lives learning, but we will never quit! This is what we are - entrepreneurs! No matter how many times we will fail, we will never stop trying!"
How about that?

100% true. Never literally means Never. It's always, "Here's what I am doing right now to make this happen."
Few truly understand that there is no giving up, not ever.
Did that sound ominous?

Well said I like making it happen that's the challenge of the whole thing. What fun is it without the challenge? You have to be pro-active and go for it. Sonni

I whole-heartedly agree with that point (and the whole post).
I love the story of how an inexperienced writer/actor was turned down by movie producers more times than most of us would even contemplate attempting (can't quote the exact figure from memory). After his wife left him (got fed up of nagging him to get a "proper job"), and he lost his home and his loyal dog, and while sleeping outside movie maker' offices at night, he then managed to get his self-penned screenplay through the door of one producer who said, "Okay Mr Stallone, we'll use 'Rocky'!"... and the rest is history.
Never, ever, ever give up!

Great post Pavel and so so true. Persistence, patience, self motivation among others are desperately needed to make any business succesful. Anyone who does not possess these qualities may as well give up, harsh but true.
