I have had Planet Pulse listed on my website for about a year and a half. Many members have joined and I have never gotten any bad feedback. I don't know how often they send paid surveys, but I am 100% sure they are a legitimate company.

Planet Pulse is indeed a legitimate survey site. In fact, I even spoke to their Regional Manager when I apply for their affiliate program.
As a member, I already earned $18.20 to date. I joined them in Aug 07. Their cashout level is USD 20 so I am very close to payout already.
Just for the info, when I spoke to their manager, she told me that currently they are looking for panelist from the asia pacific regions as they have many asia pacific survey projects to complete.
True enough, the last 10 days I have received 3 surveys from them. 2 surveys paying $3 per survey and the other one pays $4. They don't pay very high for their surveys though 
The surveys were about pizza hut, shell and IT knowledge.
I guess, if you are not from asia pacific region, you are not going to receive that much surveys from them. The past weeks, I have seen even my referrals are getting a lot surveys as these are reflected in my account. You are paid $0.20 every time your referrals completes a survey. Not much but its residual income for your lifetime !!
I would recommend joining Planet Pulse.

Looks pretty good. To make good money you have to sign up with as many sites as possible.

You are right, sign up with as many survey panel as possible.
As different person have different daemorgaraphic profile, different survey panels will be on the look out for different profiles !!

So what you are telling me is, you have been a member since August and only earned $18.20? That is terrible! You can make that in a week or less just taking surveys for one company.
I don't know about this site, it doesn't seem worth my time...

Maybe my profile doesn't match what they are looking for. Not everybody will have a "perfect" profile that makes them eligible for EVERY survey.
To me Planet Pulse is a good panel as they do send consistent number of surveys though not as much as the others.
Earning something for free is better than nothing at all
