What do you think about hits 4 pay? I signed up and I do see that I get credit when I read the small ads..Now it's not gonna make me rich however I do see the credits....How do the other sites work? Are they worth the time and effort? I put my energy into other things and have not really spent that much time with the survey stuff....

Well there are many people which make money by taking surveys, you can try that. You also won't get rich from it is a great way to earn some extra money.

One of the best survey companies that I have worked with has always been Pinecone research. Right now they are specifically looking for people between the ages of 18-24. If you want to sign up, go to http://www.surveyinferno.com/paid-surveys/pinecone-research.html. As always, Pinecone has had limited enrollment opportunities, so hurry if you want to get in.

If someone has not yet signed up to pinecone then I advise you to do so ASAP. They are from the best paid survey sites out there. I
If you take a survey from them on Monday your paypal account gets credited on Tuesday (the next day). If you don't have pay pal that is fine they will send out a check for you the next day. You don't have to wait to have a minimum balance in order to request payment and there is no need for you to request payment.
The payments are sent out automatically. They have a great reputation. It is very hard to find a live link in order to sign up.
Thank you ciobanul for finding a live link, these live links don't last long so stop reading this post and sign up already.
Good Luck

Doctors also do really well with surveys. Like easily $150 for a 15 minute online survey. And the thing is, the more executive level, or specialized, or experienced you are, the more you tend to get paid. Alas...

This has to with the fact that they make more money, and in order to make it worth it for the doctor to conduct the survey the compensation needs to be more.

Post your top ten favorite survey sites and give a few reasons why you like them. I haven't udated this list for November 2008 yet.
1. SurveySpot $306.80 ($5 po) (Invokes) ($266.80 received - rec'd) ($40 req'd)
SurveySpot would have to be my Number One favorite survey site because: 1) they have paid me the most money, 2) their surveys are frquent and arrive daily, 3) they are accurate in their estimated times of completion, 4) their payments arrive by check in four to eight weeks, 5) they resolve all disputes quickly and even give you the incentive for any survey that you failed to complete for most reasons if you email them with the survey number, 6) they have a large number of interactive panels, 7) they offer paid product trials and 8) they do not use OTX. SurveySpot still does not offer PayPal, which would make them perfect in every way.
2. Opinion Outpost $152.70 ($5 po) ($130.20 rec'd) ($18 req'd)
Opinion Outpost is a solid Number Two favorite survey site because: 1) No other survey site comes close to my earnings other than SurveySpot, 2) they send paid surveys frequently, 3) their screening process is excellent so I qualify for most surveys and 4) they compensate you fairly for your time.
3. YourFreeSurveys $131.25 ($30 po) (PayPal) ($125.00 rec'd) ($35 from contests)
I am biased in favor of YourFreeSurveys because I am a moderator on their forum and compensated for that, but they do have daily surveys for $1.05 (OTX) and $0.90 (GiveUsYour2Cents), send occasional surveys that pay and hold frequent contests for $200-300, which I have won money from twice. They also are one of the companies that offers PayPal, which means fast payments. And they have Heath, who moderates this forum and also runs a blog of her own with straight shooting reviews of every survey site out there, good and bad. All of these are big plus marks to consider in addition to the monetary incentives.
[Link removed - Admin]
4. SendEarnings $109.03 ($30 po) ($67.84 rec'd) ($6 processing fee for two payments) 9. InboxDollars $77.01 ($30 po) ($58.20 rec'd) ($6 processing fees for two payments)
Both of these entries comprise my #4 and #9 best survey companies. Both InboxDollars and SendEarnings are owned by Cotter-Web and administered by Greenfield Online; however, they are basically the same so I listed them together. They are essentially trial offer sites, but you can also make a fair amount of money just from taking daily $0.50 surveys. Forget about clicking on emails for $0.02 each because that only amounts to about $1 extra per month for each site. You can also make money playing games and from referrals, but the games take too long to earn a pay out and referrals seem like spam to me. No one likes the $3 processing fee or waiting a month for the first check to be 'processed', but once you are a Gold Member they process your check in one week. The $30 pay out minimum is also too high. I am seriously beginning to wonder if it is necessary to be a member of both of these sites since they both offer essentially the same surveys and offers.
6. Global Test Market $104.00 ($10 po) ($104.00 rec'd)
GTM is definately one of the best points sites out there, after Opinion Outpost, and you can earn a lot of money with them. The $10 pay out point is reasonable and they compensate you fairly for your time. I receive two to three surveys per week and qualify for most. I recently received a check for $51.75 that moved them up on my list and I predict that they will soon surpass GFO.
7. Greenfield Online $99.50 (PayPal) (Invokes) ($94.50 rec'd)
In spite of all of the problems that Greenfield forum members bicker over about non-payments, not qualifying for surveys, not being compensated enough, etc. Greenfield offers the second most number of Invoke Interactive panels of any survey company and no one forces you to take any of their surveys for a sweepstakes entry. They also offer PayPal, which is a much faster method of receiving payments and they have no minimum pay out point. I only know of one other survey company (YFS) that offers an active forum where you can air your grievances and where there is a dedicated moderator to actively answer your questions on a personal basis in a timely fashion. Every other survey company uses email to address disputes. And her name is Angela at [email protected]
Here is my most recent complaint about GFO:
I haven't been doing enough GFO surveys to qualify for anything since August 8, when I was credited for a $25 Invoke Interactive that I had done several months prior, except for two $1 surveys in August, three $1 surveys in September and two $1 surveys in October. I think GFO's strategy is to ensure that only people who spend two to three hours per day doing their surveys exclusively will benefit from them the most, or maybe there has just been a dry spell for the past two or three months for me. I did much better the first three to six months when I was getting 29-104 sweepstakes entries then the past two months when I am averaging less than 20 sweepstakes entries per two week period. I've clicked on every paying survey within the first 24 hours, but every time I click 'Yes' I am disqualified. I still like the forum though.
8. ACOP $62.00 ($62 rec'd)
American Consumer Opinionp Panel has finally made my Top Ten list and for good reason, they send out consistent surveys that pay well along with product trials and their checks arrive in a reasonable amount of time. I wish they would keep track of my earnings and survey history online and also offer PayPal.
9. Daily Survey Panel $60.50 (PayPal) ($60.50 rec'd)
This company is really growing on me. You get daily email invitations and depending on how many other sites you are a member of that also use OTX (Greenfield Online, GlobalTestMarket, Mindfield, OpinionOutpost and YourFreeSurveys) and GiveUsYour2Cents (Quick Rewards [the owner of the DSP site] and YourFreeSurveys) you will be able to earn up to $1.85 per day.
10. Valued Opinions $57.40 ($20 po) (Amazon gift certificates - gc) ($40 rec'd)
If you like Amazon gift certificates then you will like Valued Opinions as you can earn them faster here than anywhere else. ClearVoice is the only other purveyor of Amazon GCs that even comes close.

From my personal experience Opinion Outpost is hands down the best. They offer a nice back office and even have an affiliate program that pays you $1 for every person you refer to the site, and this is easy because signing up with Opinion Outpost is completely free to join.

I started keeping records of my paid online surveys January 31, 2008. It has been 12 months since I started. I spend an average of two to three hours per day taking surveys. Here are the amounts that I have earned from 30 paid online survey sites. I have earned $2206.32 in 12 months from 33 survey sites, which is $183.86 per month. My actual receipts are $2044.84, which is $170.40 per month. The average survey site earned $5.57 per month, but that does not take into account how recently I joined some sites, so I predict that this number will go up dramatically. I have added the dates that I joined each site. About 15% of my earnings are from product trials and Invoke Interactives. Keep in mind that many of these survey sites were not joined in the first month. I just joined Viewpoint last month and Paid Survey Rewards this month. I also just removed five under-producing survey sites that earned me $150 last year year. I did not unsubscribe, but will no longer track them. $100.06 of that was from Tik Tik Cash, a trial offer site.

To LapisLee, That sounds like some great earnings for you. I don't do nearly as well. I made a post just like this on on another discussion board. I think my totals were about $500 USD for the year of 2008. I took about 4 months away from doing the surveys though. It seems like I had to start all over again. But great for what you have accomplished. I am going to try to top your earnings for 2009. I hope you don't mind?

This prompted me to go back and look at my year, too. And wow, I am glad I did. I only kept track of January - March and September-December carefully as I was off on maternity leave for the April-August part of the year.
But for the months I mentioned, I received payments totalling more than $7,065! And I was getting regular surveys and payments along the way in the middle too, just didn't keep my excel sheet up.
Well that makes me feel better now that I am filing for taxes on many of those survey sites

Hello Everyone, I am brand new at this. Since 2 days ago today, 2/27/09. My name is denise and I sure am praying to do well with this. I have read many of your posts and cannot thank you all enough for sharing with others like myself. I am income-less still, after almost a year. Out of the goodness of their hearts, I live on an older couples property in a very nice little travel trailer. Im a christian so you are gonna hear me mention the Lord quite often but I don't expect anyone else to believe the way I do I am just so grateful for finding this forum first of all, then, I was so grateful to get to read happygal's blog. It saved me a lot of research and I have built a database(MS Access)so that I can not just start keeping track of how Im doing, but I want to share with others as well. Pay-it-forward you know
I am a single/divorced woman, 56 years old. I have lots of time, free internet and I can do this. I would love to keep in touch with others that are actively working and earning So far, all I am doing is signing up. Once that is done, I look forward to receiving some surveys.
Thank you all again, denise in Sams Valley OR PS I hope for you all to continue doing well

that is really awesome now that I realize what it takes to even get a survey I qualify for. I want to get in on the "action" of seeing who can make the most bucks, LOL!!! Im not very competitive though, just with myself I hope everyone does well. We are all up against the wall to survive I think. I don't know one person that has it easy. My neighbors and best friends worked all their lives and retired. She had been wise and made some very good investments, but now, they are dipping(I should say scooping)into those just to pay monthly bills For me personally, I have learned to live on next to nothing so it isn't so hard for me. But those that have had a lot??? I think they will have the hardest time But they can make it too I once had pretty much anything I wanted, wealthy. Now all I want is enough to put dinner on the table and not have to wear holy(or is that holey??socks, LOL
Everyone have a good evening and probably see you tomorrow By the way, if this "newbie" finds any sites that aren't already listed in "best of the best" I will certainly share them here

I've recently reviewed a free site that I heard about on Good Morning America.
It's called SendEarnings.com. You won't get rich using them but they are kinda fun to play with, The surveys pay .50 ea and they also send you email to look at and there's a paid game section also.. If you want a little jingle in your jeans and have a lot of time on your hands this might be fun for you.

Newbie Shield, some of the surveys that really work are worth the time. For example, I completed a survey on Greenfield Online a few days ago for $20 US dollars for 60 minutes. The trick to "real paid surveys" is to look for the surveys that pay out $2 or more per 10 minutes. If you take the long paying surveys that pay $3 for 60 minutes of time than you will be complaining like a lot of inexperienced survey takers do. Data entry and stuffing envelopes I don't know much but I hear on forums people say they are not worth the time and do not pay enough per hour of work you put in.

In my personal experience, Not many them really pay,
But I found one site really paid to me.
It's a site you just pay starting fees and have Surveys from
Various companies. But do not expect to get a lot of money
by doing survey, littel extra cash for your bills, It is the best
and most legit. internet business I can say
