Hi all,
I'm posting a question for my daughter. She came across this forum: http://www.gamesforum.ca/showthread.php?t=273352
Please note I am in no way affiliated with this idea. I am skeptical and since my daughter is only 15- I'd like other people's views on this program, whether good bad, etc.
Please advise.
TIA
Deanna

Ran into this awhile back. I think Geraldo was endorsing it back when I saw it. And it was all done through mail not paypal.
It's actually illegal

Taberdude,
Typical Ponzi scheme. Quite illegal. Most participants don't even get a single dollar back - they lose everything they invest. Don't do it.

I'm new to this forum so maybe I am missing something. All I see on your post is the question "Does anyone have info about this Paypal system?"
Since I have recently been the victim of a $500 scam sent via Paypal, I would like to issue a "Buyer Beware" in response to your question. I have used Paypal for many years without a problem...until I sent a $500 deposit for a car that I bought on eBay. I later found out via the BMV that the guy did not own the car and I asked for my deposit back. The seller refused so I told him I would file a complaint with eBay and Paypal. He told me that there is no way I can get my money back, no matter who I complain to.
Of course I did not believe him. Paypay has a guarantee that you will get your money back if there is a problem....NOT! eBay told me to contact Paypal and graciously gave me the Customer Service phone number. The nice Paypal Customer Service Rep helped me find the fine print buried deep in their contract that states you can't get your money back for nontangible goods or vehicles.
The scam artist, therefore, gets to keep my money. However, I will do my best to make his life as miserable as possible via negative feedback, BBB filing, and contacting as many law enforcement agencies as I can to report him. I hope I can make him regret the day that he stole my money as well as decrease his theft activity to help others from losing their money.
Paypal is a great system IF you are dealing with trustworthy people. Otherwise, BUYER BEWARE!

I agree. I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
