Everybody uses search engines fro web pages or information. The big search engines like Google and Yahoo benefit from advertisement revenues while ordinary searchers do not get compensation from them.
Now this new company works with Ask.com and provide any internet users who use their search engine with cash back for every search.
I search internet for information and results like I normally do, but this time I get paid doing it. When I tell my friends to join, I get paid from my friends' searching activities, too.
So I feel like spreading the word. It is completely free and there is no need to spend any money.

Interesting. If the search engine pays people to do searches, you would think that it would not take long for them to run out of money.

So are they , like , profit sharing with the searchers from their paid advertising?
When Yuwie came out, they had this big spiel and thousands joined but I have yet to hear of anyone that made more than a few bucks once you really sat down and did the math!

I have just joined them and I can see that I earn from each of my single search every time I look up something in internet.
The key is not to abuse the system. I search internet the way I normally do. I do not intend to just search to earn money. It is not worth the time.
However It is better than not getting paid at all. You search for information anyway. What is wrong with getting paid for it? They pay via your Paypal account.
The reason it works is because every time people search, search engine earns money from advertisement. So now they share the revenue with us.
You will not earn much from your own search. Who has time?
But, when you have more people do the same thing in your team. You can earn big bucks.

I know that one of the schools in my town set up a search page for the school via this company.
Now students use this search page for their homework rather than using Google or Yahoo. Then school earns money. It is like funds raising without much effort.
That is another way to promote this. You sign up first and spread the word to your school, or church or etc.

This Search and Earn program allows you to earn from your referrals down to 4 levels deep. That is the beauty.

Just the update. I have joined this Search Engine Program since late March, 2008 and now I have earned about 5 pounds (money, not weight) from the program. It is equivalent to $10.
Not bad for "FREE" program and it is just "FREE" money that you get from your daily activity that you do, searching the web for any questions you have.
I have seen that 4 people signed up to be my "Friends" now. I am earning from their searching, too.
Will keep you posted.

Actually, the way it works is the search engine company just splits the money they receive from advertisements to the people who use their search engine.
It is the simple way of promoting their search engine. They are willing to keep less profit for better exposure to search engine demand out there. I think it makes sense.
No. They won't run out of money since they only pay percentage of income they receive.
In a nutshell, there is nothing for searcher to lose since you use search engine for your work/entertainments/etc. anyway. Might as well get paid for it.
Now that I have people joined my team. They do the searching and they earn. I also earn from the search engine company for introducing this to more people. It is win-win for everyone.
Once you have 20 pounds in your account, they will pay you by check or Paypal account.
Although the company is based in England, the search can be set up so that you get more US search results.

This is the update.
This search company used to only use Ask.com for their search result. Now they are using Ask.com, Yahoo and Live (MSN) search engines. Also they are working on adding Google to the search result.
This means the search result will be even more extensive than just searching each search engine alone.
On top of that you earn from every search you make. You earn from your friends that you refer to this as well.

OK this is the update.
So far I have earned $16 for using this earching engine for the past month. (regular searches from 2-20 searches per day, all legitimate searches)
Not bad, consider it is free and I was doing regular activities that I normally do anyway.
My son feels like searching for his homework more now that he sees he earns money just working on his homework.
We started to see people joining us now. They are searching and we are earning from their searches, too.
Once we have more people join the team, the income will jump higher (I hope).

There are some issues when mysearchfunds try to combine all search engine together from Yahoo, Ask, Live and Google. So far when you search, you get results mostly from Google.
It is the same result as if you were searching google.com, It is just that you tend to have more results from pages from England. But you set the preference to show mostly any regions of your interest.
But you get paid doing it.

The new name for this search engine service is now Homepagesfriends.com.
It decided to just stick with Yahoo search and up to now I have earned $26 (mostly from my friends' earning since I was away on vacation for about a month).
Like I said, this process takes time, but once you have enough friends, you should see the growth.

This is the update. So far I have earned $36 just from regular searching (and I have not spent that much time searching). This is not much, but it is free money.
The way I think about it. I don't get paid by using google or yahoo. Now this company uses Yahoo.com, but I get paid doing it.

Sometimes I am frustrated that not so many people "get" what I think is a win-win opportunity. You sign up for free and earn while you search internet like you normally do. You get the same result like when you search Yahoo.com.
Of course even signing up with this does not mean you have no other choices of search engines. You can switch back and forth if you want to vary your search result. All you have to do is changing the default on the search bar.
I am encouraged though to see more people see the benefits of this and signed up. Welcome on board. When you sign up and spread the word more, that is how you earn passive income.
