WOW lilirose...I can not honestly say I am surprised by this. This was one of the biggest failures I have ever seen. I am so glad that they for no reason at all....decided to disconnect my password. I am glad that I didn't invest any more into this company other than 5 days and a pair of headsets (which I did return for a full refund).
I do feel sorry for the people who counted on this for some good money.
I hope any company that comes across this post in consideration of hiring Cloud 10 for their customer service, would seriously think twice before hiring this company. There were many employees that were well qualified and worked very hard for this company. Many of whom will never be paid for their time and effort, nor will ever work for this company. Therefore I am left to wonder the quality of workers that will be left to answer your business for you.
This was an embarrassment, and I can see why we are hiring outside of the US for jobs like these. It's not the workers but the poor management and corporations with no business sense.
DO NOT EVER WORK FOR THIS COMPANY OR HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I was one of the people who didnt have any technical issues and started receiving calls from early morning on day one with about 10 very successful test call audits. I, too, got the "terminated project" email when I tried to log on for my morning shift. I am very upset because I had been unemployed for several months and I'd gotten hired on with Cl**d 10 and another work at home company. Cl**d 10 took up so much more of my time for their "training" and thats time I could have spent doing the PAID training on my other job. I'm pretty bummed about the whole situation.

My wife, DianaW, who worked at this place for over a year, was just fired due to a disability. Not only that, but they are disorganized, do not want to help, blame employees for issues which is on their end, can't adequately handle the calls for WildBlue, and and rude, lie, and unresponsive. They treat people like this is the last place someone can get a job, and if they don't like it, TS. Well, we are filing a Civil Rights case against Cloud10, as well as other possible court proceedings for treating my wife the way they did. She gave them over a year of her time, worked her butt off, and this is how they treat her. WildBlue is aware now of this as well as letting them know just how well their system doesn't work. I worked at Microsoft and when there were issues with things hanging up with MoJo, the blamed me. These people are rude, wrong, and unprofessional. Beware, you will get bit.

Hi Everyone! I was working on the DTV project as well. I worked for two days, 7 hours each day. From what I was told, if Tstar showed pulling next call, then that meant that we were logged in and getting paid. It is now March 6th and I haven't recieved my paycheck yet. I emailed their payroll dept, and they have told me that I was never logged in, and therefore they are not going to pay me. Anyone else had this issue???

To all those who worked for Cloud10 on their DTV Advisory Hotline from Feb 16th to Feb 20th and were short paid or not paid at all. Please band together and fill out this form and mail it to the Colorado Attorney General's Office.

http://www.ago.state.co.us/consline/complaint.pdf

http://www.coworkforce.com/lab/combodemand.pdf

Also complete the demand for payment form and mail that to them certified mail. According to the law they owe you 50 day starting 10 days from the day you were to be paid.

You can also file criminal charges against them as it is considered fraud read this;

How is the comcast project? I begin on March 31 and am quite excited. Contrary to the other reports, I also did the DTV project and do understand why it ended the way it did, and I was one of the fortunates that had no technical difficulties and was paid for my time. I loved it and I'm excited about this new opportunity!

Hi there.

Are you still working on the Comcast project? How do you like it? I have my final interview tomorrow.

Hopefully it goes well! Any information you can provide would be appreciated.

I am still with Cloud 10 and I love it. They have proven to be very understanding as I have been off work due to a break in and my computers were stolen. What specific questions do you have?

Thanks,
Iris

Hi here2helpu

I am sorry about your computers, I hope you are successful in retrieving them back.

I have a question about Cloud 10's Pre-qualification interview.
What type of questions are asked?

Also, am I using my home phone or are the calls routed through my computer?

Headset- For computer or telephone?

I hope I haven't bothered you and I hope to speak with you later

Thank you

You are not bothering me, I don't mind at all. The questions are pretty straight forward and casual. Do you have a quiet place to work? Nothing about skills at all. Calls are routed thru your computer, there is a program that acts as a switchboard, headsets are needed for the computer which works with the switchboard.

Feel free to converse anytime.

Thank You for responding back so soon

I have a headset for the computer, wonder if they use the Soft Phone software. Anyway, I am a little nervous but rather think of it as excited instead, lol

I was going out to buy A TELEPHONE HEADSET! OOPS

I am reading everyone's post and I think That is making me nervous

One more question here2helpu, How are the shifts?

I know You have to commit to 1 weekend as I have never worked weekends but I can't be choosy.

No, they use Avaya. My shift is 11 to 6 CST and I work every Sat/Sun. You will be lucky if you only have to work one weekend a month. What project are you on? I am on the Comcast Helpdesk troubleshooting Internet.

I have my Pre-Qualification interview scheduled.

I'm only on step 2.

Your shift is from 11a-6p, that's very good!

What website Juda?

TIgerlady - that doesn't mean that you didn't get the job. You could possibly be contacted within two to three weeks. Don't worry.

Hello all....
HERE2HELPU, wondering how the job with comcast is going . I was recently offered another position for this job (third time they have sent me this offer). I heard it's very hard and that you have to have several screens open at once. Most of the calls are from technicians. I also saw there was selling....I don't want to sell, I CAN sell and I can sell very well, but if I am going to be selling something, I want to get paid a lot more than 8.50!
Please let me know your feedback on this particular job as I am still considering this, but most likely not.
I am really interested in a more customer service type job (what the DTV project was supposed to be) I don't want to sell and/or have to find things very fast for a tech in the field.
Any and all input would be much appreciated.

Hi - I work in the internet service area (Tier) I just handle customer issues with internet connection, If they want to upgrade or downgrade their services, I just transfer to billing. What is the title of the job that they are offering?

hi iris,
i'm a new blog member, and thinking about applying at cloud 10. currently i rent a place where i use a wireless network adapter to connect to high speed cable internet that is upstairs. i gather i'll need to get my own modem. what about phone? i read that calls are routed through the pc, but will i need a landline that is not provided through the cable? also i will need to buy a headset.........i'm just wondering if all this is worth it.....especially if the hourly wage isnt even $10/hr......thanks for the time, amy

Amylou, the last two offers have been 8.50/hour and they told me in my interview that most pay that.

deesunshine - cable billing project is terrible -
They have so many different rates just to keep people that they all complain and for 8.50, it is not worth it.

OMG - I think that they have some other positions, I was talking to Amy today - I am going to look tomorrow when I go to work and I will let you guys know.

Hi to all.....
I thought Cloud 10 Corp was a bunch of crap i stayed on line for 2 hrs thinking i wasn't getting paid. All because one of the sites on there said my id wasn't active. However, i felt like a complete idiot when my first check came for $20 instead of $700. I jumped off line thinking it was just nothing and costed myself $680 dollars. Please don't be ignorant as i was i regret not finishing this project. Considering i hadn't worked since December 29,2008.

I just did Cloud 10's the "hiring process" tests. Does anyone know if there were any tests after the typing test? After all the other tests a message popped up but nothing happened after the typing test so I didn't know if the program stopped responding or if I was finished. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!
