I have been hesitant to join as it reminds me of LCM and Giblink,,, you pay and pay and return is minimal. The top dogs recruit alot but the everyday person can't so their return is small to nada..
Good Luck out there...

Mark_Worthen: One thing I wonder about is if the social networking site by itself is worth $32.95 per month? Considering all that you can do with MySpace, Facebook, Orkut, YouTube, Squidoo, etc. for free, $32.95 per month gives me pause. But I always endeavor to keep an open mind. Perhaps one of you current (paid) members would discuss why you think the social networking site by itself is worth the monthly fee? Thank you, Mark
Yes we all have access to the "Millions" of people on all the free networking sites. The problem is you have sort through "Millions" of people, trying to find the like minded ones that you trust and are willing to do business with. Wowzza has done a lot of that work for you.
It has a fair compensation plan that rewards those who Choose to promote this. It even offers potential rewards for the ones who do not refer anyone.
Even if you take out the comp plan completely, the little over $30 a month is well worth the price for the services and tools provided. You will not find the typical posts, emotions, and overall opinions you find everywhere in the free network sites.

Thank you Teydean. You make a good argument for the site.
Would you say that the tools and the quality of the members (for lack of a better phrase) are superior to AdlandPro and DirectMatches (if you are familiar with those two sites)?

At the very least, the business contacts are worth it. Time will tell how successful it is. 60,000 signups in 6 days is cool, though!

I never really got into AdlandPro, but it's definitely better than DirectMatches IMHO. I'm sure there are others who would agree 100%!

I have heard that the owner of WOWZZA is the same person who owned CMM and took off with peoples money from that program.
Does any one know if this is in fact the same person. I was looking into it but if it is, He owes alot of people money and they have never received it. So I would be hesitant to join.

TraVerus fully investigates anything they endorse. If that were true, they wouldn't have gotten involved. I will ask about it anyway and post something when they respond.

I just got an e-mail from the Vice-President of TraVerus. He's been making calls, and found NO PROBLEMS with Jim Vigilante's previous businesses. As I mentioned in previous posts, I didn't think TraVerus WOULD get involved if there were a problem.
Most rumors are started by disgruntled members. All companies have this.
Sorry it took so long.

Wowzza is really going strong and getting stronger everyday. The nice thing is that you can make money without referring anyone. Although if you sponsor people you can make even more money. You have to have multiple streams of income to survive and this is a good way to network with others Jason

I would NOT consider Wowzza a social network like the others, Facebook, Myspace, Adlandpro, etc... Be sure you read the Terms of Service VERY carefully. - Paragraph II states:
WowzzaPower 's system covers all the necessary features so through WowzzaPower you can easily contact and communicate with your downline or your leads. All leads developed by you are expressly owned by you and managed by us and are not to be ever used for any cross line or recruiting into any other companies or lead programs or selling of additional tools or commission bearing programs or instruments to your members.
This means that you can't promote another network marketing company OR any other program you might be in, affiliate tools, etc.
Further down under compensation: . Only active members in good standing are paid commissions on earnings. No commissions are paid for the simple act of "Sponsoring" other members, all commissions are paid on sales of our product, membership purchase to Wowzza.com.
The whole section under "SPAM, BULK MAIL, NEWS GROUPS and SECURED FORUMS POSTINGS" is worth reading more than once whether they actually enforce the rules or not will remain to be seen. However, there is a section in there about sending 'cold' email blasts. Unless you have proof that someone asked you for information, you could get fined $500 if someone complains....
It also talks about 'secured' forums... "WowzzaPower also strictly prohibits posting solicitations about and specifically pointing to our systems via URL's on any type of secured, password protected and / or subscription type of forum, posting and or boards."
I can't think of too many forums, groups or news groups that AREN'T password protected, including this forum - not sure what this leaves-
Whether or not it is a viable business that the masses can succeed, it's too early to tell... Just read the Terms of Service very carefully and realize you will not be able to treat this like any other Social Network - It's NOT -
~good luck and keep us informed

"WowzzaPower" is the marketing system and Wowzza.com is the Social Network.
They don't want you using the tools in the "WowzzaPower" marketing system to promote other programs to your leads, but on the Social Networking site (Wowzza.com) it's free game.

Thanks for the clarification - I am sure others probably need to know that also.
