Have you guys heard of a NEW Social Network called WOWZZA set to launch on March 25, 2008? I received a few emails from several leaders so I went ahead and positioned myself directly under the BIGWIGS.
"Wowzza is a Professional, Full Featured Social Network focused on the Internet Marketing, Home Business Community.
Instead of paying you a profit sharing bonus, an ad revenue share or some other "IF" form of compensation, WOWZZA uses a Serious Compensation Plan that pays you extremely well to be a Social Networking Super Star!
Now, instead of wondering how much you will be paid and what exactly you are being paid for, trying to figure out percentages and guessing what the company earned on their ad sales, your ads, tracking clicks, visitors & ratings, Wowzza uses a simple, profitable, well established Forced Matrix.
All members are paid members so you know that you are only promoting to & building relationships with serious, professional business people...."

I pre-enrolled a couple of days ago and it looks very interesting. A 3x9 forced matrix certainly does catch the eye. I like the fact that they use that as opposed to some other networking sites which payplan leaves you baffled to say the least sometimes!

Cybermommy,
I totally agree with you! This is one of the many reasons why Wowzza is so appealing. This type of payplan takes away most of the guessing and assuming. It allows people to focus on building their business rather than spending countless hours trying to dissect the compensation plan. I'm sure some of you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

Looks interesting - as long as it's not just a bunch of IM'ers trying to sell to each other. Anybody want to PM me a Link?

That's a subject that has come up a few times.
I'm pretty sure they will have a designated area where business owners can promote their products and services. Being that it's a social network, it's not just about selling to each other. It's about networking, communicating with other network/internet marketers and gaining knowledge. Learning from the best and applying your new found knowledge to improve your business. Some of the biggest names in the industry are already involved and we have the opportunity to pick their brain.
The fact that it's a paid membership should weed out most of the tire kickers and the people who go around creating free accounts and spamming. The owners have stated that they will NOT tolerate any form of spam. Anyone caught spamming would be putting there account at risk. And who would want to risk their membership, income, training, and everything in between for a few bucks?

No, not at all!
Wowzza hasn't even opened to the public yet. Joining now would actually put you at the beginning.

What about the risk of having PayPal shut down due to this being of a pyrimid nature? I've had that trouble before.

Wowzza is NOT using Paypal as their payment processor so that's not an issue.

Well, I can't take credit for all those members. I only have 3 signups thus far, the rest of my downline is spillover.

Hi Cricfan,
First, you don't get paid $1839 JUST by signing up, but you can get paid 6 levels deep without sponsoring anyone. So if you join and get spillover from your upline, you will get paid for each member spilled into your matrix 6 levels deep.
In order to get paid on the 7th level you have to sponsor 5, 8th level is 15, and the 9th level is 30 TOTAL. Hope that helps...

I suppose I'll take a look. The promises are grand enough. Perhaps a 2 month stint might be worth a shot?
Any thoughts anyone?

I've gotten several emails about this, but I haven't really looked at it too much. Looks interesting and great on the surface. I'll have to take a look here shortly.

I joined to see what all the buzz is about. So far I'm disappointed.
The link I clicked took me to WowzzaPower.com, which is apparently the distributor/sales site. I tried to find the actual social networking site but couldn't locate it.
I Googled "wowzza" and found the social networking site (I think) at Wowzza.com but the username and password I had received when I signed up at the WowzzaPower site didn't work on the Wowzza.com site. I tried to find a link to the join the Wowzza.com site but I couldn't locate it.
One of the things that concerns me about these "powerline" programs is that they rarely last more than a year or two. The people with large lists and the owners make a lot of money but everyone else loses out.
I think the problem is that most "powerline" programs put so much emphasis on the business opportunity that they neglect the product or service.
Of course, that criticism could be leveled at other network marketing companies to some extent but it seems to be more extreme with "powerline" programs.
I haven't concluded that Wozza fits into the "here today, gone tomorrow" category of biz opps. However, my first impression is not positive.
If anyone can tell me how to access the actual social networking site, I would appreciate it.
All the Best,
Mark

Hi Mark,
You have to sign up for the social networking site from the WowzzaPower back office. When you log in, it's on the right side, under important news & links. Hope that helps...

Thank you Teydean.
I get it now. You have to "upgrade" to become a member and use the social networking site. Upgrading means paying $32.95 each month to be able to use the social networking site.
One thing I wonder about is if the social networking site by itself is worth $32.95 per month?
Considering all that you can do with MySpace, Facebook, Orkut, YouTube, Squidoo, etc. for free, $32.95 per month gives me pause.
But I always endeavor to keep an open mind. Perhaps one of you current (paid) members would discuss why you think the social networking site by itself is worth the monthly fee?
Thank you,
Mark
