Cool, Gabe! I think you will find that you will be addicted to BANS pretty soon! Make sure to check out my free BANS Promo Guide in the BANS forum. it will help you GET A GRIP on how to market your BANS stores - you will see it in my signature file...my user name is the same in the BANS forum as it is here.

There are more affordable ways to build a niche store with RSS feeds! I have scripts and videos and will be offering the stores all made for less very soon.

luvtravel: There are more affordable ways to build a niche store with RSS feeds! That's what I've done with my chocolate candy site. I have a section on "Chocolate and Ebay" with several pages dedicated to RSS feeds with particular chocolate candy related products on ebay. This was free to do and has the advantage of getting the automatic ranking of my site attributed to it.
I'll admit though that I don't really make many sales through my ebay pages. I'm not sure why. Perhaps that's really not what my visitors are actually looking for.
If it was a different niche I might do better with that. A number of people using SBI have incorporated RSS feeds from ebay on their sites. Some of them do very well. I know a 'watch guy' that does quite well with it.
Since SBI added the functionality of 'InfinIt' which lets you plug in just about anything to your site there are a number of people adding BANS stores as a subdomain to their site. I just wonder if there is a significant difference in sales depending on the setup of RSS the way we already have it or a BANS.
Time will tell...

This almost seems to easy to be true. It also sounds extremly interesting. I'd really like to make alittle $300-$500 a month using something like this... How many BANS stores would I have to acctauly start to make that much? I didn't really understand the process of starting a BANS store. You said all you do is get your BANS licence, upload some products that you think you would sell and launch the site? Or is it more like article marketing where you have to acctauly write a bunch of content about the products? Thanks in advance for your help getagrip as I already know, I'll probley have an answer within refreshing the page in 5 minutes. LOL...

Well...you don't actually upload any "products" - you upload the BANS software that will allow you to display live eBay feeds on your website.
As far as how many BANS stores to build to make a profit, my philosophy is "the more, the merrier". I do know of some people who are making good money with only a handful of optimized BANS stores in which they add a lot of unique content to. Of course, this approach requires more work.
However, I prefer to spend $6.99 for new domains, and keep building "plain" BANS sites, which has worked well for me, but if you take this approach, you need at least 10 stores to make a descent profit. The reason I say this is because you will find that BANS stores are sometimes hit or miss - you might build 10 stores, and find that only 5 of those make a good profit, while the other 5 are worthless...

Getagrip....Why are you telling everybody?? lol The more you tell, the more the competition!
No seriously, thank you. This looks like a great opportunity. How much did you make when you first started? Was it hard for you to market the site? I want to do this but Im nervous. Are you also a part of the affiliate program? I didn't see your link for it. One other question...did you pay alot to advertise? Thank you for sharing this info.

Here are my latest thoughts on BANS:
While BANS is a great product, I don't know if I can honestly recommend it to newbies. I think you might be better off learning the fundamentals of affiliate marketing first, then purchasing BANS once you have a grasp on affiliate marketing - and for that, I'd recommend Wealthy Affiliate.
So...BANS is a great product, but I don't know if its the best place for newbies to start out if you want to get into affiliate marketing, and I don't recommend it if you can't build at least 5 to 10 stores in different niches, since finding a niche that converts can be a challenge.
Having said that, if you are an intermediate affiliate marketer and want a good product, I'd definately recommend BANS!

Hello,
BANS is good but don't forget to treat it like a real business and do a little marketing yourself. Try Round Robin Article Marketing, nickel a click PPC and even $15 offline newspaper ads.
