I wonder what she is doing different ummm I'm going to guess massive quantities of Ad-Packets in the $50 Range probably would get you to that earning precipice, and yes Laura, to not mention DRW would be a disservice to anyone who does not know of this program.
I haven't heavily invested in it, just like to try things out first then start wambasting it with all the milk money I can scrap up. So far so good for sure, I've got two $10 packs and they have almost matured inside a month, so I am endorsing this baby big time on my blog and website, it's truly a "Winner" for sure.

That's what she is doing Scott. I had a long talk with her about it and if you can at least do an adpack a day you will see your profits daily.
I'm going to do an experiment and keep investing daily until the middle of May and see what I have earned. I honestly think this program can pay for the core programs and more if you work it.
Take care,
Laura

I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread.
I combined my own personal research about RIOY along with the input from members in the forum and made a decision to join the RIOY team.
I am excited about the possibilities but more importantly I am very impressed by the level of commitment that this organization makes to the success of the members.
Thank you again for your input.

Congratulations John! I personally have been more motivated with RIOY than ever.
One piece of advice....do DRW to the fullest...whatever you can afford. At this point my earnings are about $10 a day.
I'm going to try to come up with some stats after one full month with the program and provide them to the forum as well as RIOY admin.
Take care and the best of luck to you!

Hi Villagran,
I have about 14 adpacks now and I'm making about $10 a day from them. I just went to buy one though and Google checkout is no longer an option.
I'm going to have to find another means of paying!
Take care,
Laura

RIOY I believe is a very legit online business, if whoever, before joining do a little research before doing any decision, also why not seek an advice of a lawyer, like me Im on my way to have my lawyer check it out for me,chamber of commece in your area is another good source of finding positive infos about online business or the BBB,and most of all are forums like this where we seek and read different opinions, some done it and loose money some success for a lot of reasons, and better yet is your ownself, of how you compare informations, gather all the infomations and you must left with the solution,I dont base my decisions upon what others says and think, but i will listen to what they are talking about why, because of this, if I take others advice and later on Im loose whos to blame is me.so whether I took others advice or mine and still loose its still on me.

Hi there,
You are absolutely right. Its very important to check out a program before investing and you can't always go by what people say because what works for them may not work for you.
I truly believe that with any affiliate program you join you have to believe in it first. After that, you need to learn all you can to promote it and especially learn all the keys to be successful or at least be seen on the internet.
Using forums as a source of information is an excellent way to start and you can PM people to get more information. I do that all the time.
I wish you luck.
Take care,
Laura

Well folks I've been a member of RIOY since Dec. of 07 and I have yet to make a nickel with RIOY or any other program associated via RIOY.
I've asked for explanations as to why on several occasions and I get what appears to be a prepared or canned reply which is total BS.

Hi Joe,
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm curious though, what do you do to promote the program? Does your upline keep in touch at all?
I get most of my sign ups through my Squidoo lens and blog where I write about my progress as well as write articles that explain the programs.
If you PM me I can give you some tips that will help you promote.
Take care,
Laura

Laura, The RIOY splash page is very specific about eatning $4000 per month for you at the end of one year. I'm at zero after 6 months. Here's what the splash page says.
Our Program Will Build An Income FOR YOU! Guaranteed $4,000 Per Month in One Year! We Recruit and Promote for You! We Are the Best Marketing Team On The Internet
So why would I be promoting it when I'm led to believe theywill do it all for me. As for my sponsor, the one I have is not the one I signed up under, which is another story I have no explanation for.
Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it.

Hi Joe,
Yes...I totally know how it is promoted but honestly I never for one minute believed that would happen. I liked the programs associated with RIOY and thought it was pretty easy to promote. They are also a pretty sincere admin and are constantly looking for new programs that will earn people money...DRW is a perfect example.
When I get a lead or sign up I never tell them that it will be done for them. NO way!!!! I truly only believe in myself and what I'm capable of doing.
Joe, if you do just wait for it to happen then you can be assured you will be collecting on those vacations.
I really do believe RIOY is a very viable program with a strong admin but I never personally liked the "we promote for you" aspect. People sign up for a program when they can trust the person who is selling it and I do that via my lens and blog.
They will not necessarily sign up from a landing page...they need more info from a person on the other side of their computer!
Take care,
Laura

I would like to interject here Laura if I may, I see you are having to defend our program so I thought a little help might be appreciated =).
I understand your angst with not making any money after reaching the defining 6 month mark, this of course is where as a member they say you should be making enough to support all the programs associated with RIOY. On one of the RIOY calls, Karl repented for advertising the fact that you would "Not Have To Promote" the RIOY system to make $4K per month in 12 months, he made a mistake, admitted it, apologized for it and most of us who have been involved with the program have granted him forgiveness. Those of you who spend your time watching "American Idol" instead of posting to a blog, writing ezines or developing some necessary skills to help yourselves in whatever endeavor you are currently associated with, may want to reconsider exactly "What It Is" you are trying to accomplish. There has been an ongoing problem with folks thinking that the "Not Promoting" promise means they have to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and this is furthest from the truth. You Have to actively manage every program to which you are signed up for. For instance just signing up for DRW certainly will have no benefit to you. You are responsible for logging in and buying ad packs and inserting your RIOY referral link into the text ads...... at the very least and get those adpacks active. I understand Joeflinn that you feel like you have been led down the merry path of misrepresentation, but if you at least get involved somewhat, you would find that the strength of this program lies in the "People" of RIOY, and to be honest with you, Network marketing is about establishing relationships with people, nurturing those relationships and creating an income via these friendships. I sincerely hope Joeflinn, you reconsider your position in RIOY and change your approach to the system, you will find it to be a rewarding experience with a minimal amount of effort on your part. Good Luck!!

I will not work with RIOY. I work with people that do a lot of research. I will leave it at that.
They have worked with companies that did nothing but cost people money, like Big Gorilla, or something to that effect - that they backed out of after many dropped out because of all the issues, and other programs that are good can easily be done on your own, like DRW and it's sister co. Etxads.

Hi Annadenise,
The RIOY admin and especially a certain marketer in that program has found programs like DRW and actually from what I hear Bigorilla has been restructured and making people money. RIOY is not promoting it but I trust the person that is doing that.
I am far from an expert but I will say that the RIOY admin is sincerely concerned with the members' success and I have no doubt that they will continue to find the right programs.
Personally, I don't have a problem when people make mistakes. It happens. The point is they have integrity and are continuing to do the right thing for their members.
Take care,
Laura

It is important to understand that the success of anything in life (including RIOY) comes from the investment that one is willing to make to develop success.
If you want to have a successful relationship, you must put some time and effort into it. If you want RIOY to be successful, you have to do the same thing.
I have only been in RIOY for a couple of weeks but I did some research about the company and the individuals who own it. Everything I discovered was basically positive.
It is unfortunate that there may have been some mistakes or mis-judgements but this does happen. This company wants to help you succeed. Work with them, work on your own and don't give up. Just give it some time.

Quite right anna you can forge the waters on your own, and more power to you. Many folks involved with network marketing like the support that comes from the admin at RIOY and if you seek the advice of these marketing Pro's as they intend, you can only come out of RIOY with a more rounded knowledge of online marketing. Just one question....... if you don't meet your goals are you promising yourself a vacation?? =)

I strongly disagree. This would have been great, since it was called passive, but is not from the experience I had and others I know that joined this in the very beginning. I will leave it at that and will not post here any more. But do your due diligence about associations with people running programs like Big Gorilla, problems leaders I have worked with that had team builds with this that have dropped out of Rioy due to many problems that occurred as regards referrals, commissions, etc. These are not just "mistakes" made by the people running this. They are very experienced and the team I was on was the one that really pushed back on Big Gorilla and it was finally removed. I work full time in management at a large insurance co., have kids, and am responsible for my elderly mother, so am all for opportunities that are fairly passive, that work.
I stopped my membership a long time ago and am still constantly spammed.
Good luck to you all, and I wish you well and do hope you are right.

gchildren: Any comments about the major changes that have happened at RIOY? I am curious to hear everyone's opinion.
I have to say it is interesting to hear the differences in opinion about ANY subject that deals with online opportunities, and God knows everyone is entitled to their opinions. I am referring to the post by annadenise, and would love to point out something that interests me about her post.
1st If a program says passive that typically means you don't have to invest in advertising for that program ie ppc, lead generation, email blasting etc, etc. Passive also means you should not have to partake in cold calls, speaking with anyone on the phone trying to sell or pleading with your Uncle Bob or Aunt Jane to jump into your downline.
2nd If you are seriously trying to make an income with any program known to man or woman, online without lifting a finger then you are seriously creating a false representation of what it "Is" that makes a single dollar in affiliate marketing.
The admin at RIOY has never overstated or misrepresented any one program to which they have been affiliated with. Anna mentions "mistakes" that have been made in RIOY..... what do we say to that? There are humans running the program, mistakes are made and with that the admin have always been more than forthright in admitting them. You bet bigorrilla was not the best choice at the time, but Karl Green and his admin decided to get out while the getting was good. He didn't try to save face and keep us pumping more hard earned cash into the program, he came out said "I would suggest you depart from bigorrilla" but also stated "That is only my suggestion if you want to stay in and see what happens that is fine too" How can you not respect someone who does this? When soo many just could care less, as long as they are surfing on the riches of others dollars.
You can bet there will be other instances where programs don't meet the expectations of all those involved, and if the admin says maybe we should think about bailing out, then at least they had the tenacity, honesty, and integrity to bite the proverbial bullet and let us know, instead of letting our butts hang out in the cold.
I only wish the best for anyone looking for something better, I wish that everyone would see that RIOY is the quintessential leader in affiliate marketing, unfortunately that isn't going to happen and many will jump from one program to the next and never find that little nugget called RIOY!!

Hi John,
I just went into my backoffice today because I missed Tuesday's call. I couldn't believe it when I read the new info.
I think a lot of people would be happy about this and I think it really does say alot about the admin.
I'll post the summary here so everyone can take a look. I am seriously thinking about it because I know from the beginning the admin eventually wanted everyone to get into TriVita.
Karl's letter was pretty impressive as well.
Here's the summary:
Summary of New RIOY Program:
Member pays RIOY $35 per month to cover operating expenses and help fund program Member makes One Time investment in multiples of $500 (minimum $500). For example $500, $1000, $2500. Triple your investment within one year - Money Back Guarantee RIOY signs up member in TriVita covers registration fee RIOY pays for product purchase of approximately $100 per month. This qualifies member for TriVita commissions RIOY will pay for 100 Customers from TriVita infomercials to be placed under member. Member receives 4 customers per month for 25 months. RIOY will place 3 Business Affiliates (BAs) under you. Each of these 3 BAs will also have 100 customers and 3 BAs under them, etc Fast Start Bonuses Member will be paid 20% commission on one time payments of their new RIOY upgrades from lead to marketer.
For example if one of your leads upgrades and invests $500 you will receive $100, if they invest $1,000 you receive $200, if they invest $1,500 you receive $300, if they invest $2,000 you receive $400, if they invest $2,500 you receive $500, etc
Take care,
Laura

I just got off the conference call from Tuesday night with Karl, and boy what an exciting time this is!! Trivita was designed to be the last program for members to sign on with due to it's significant cost, it was priced out of the ballpark for most folks.
Karl and RIOY has come up with a way to get everyone involved with Trivita even if you don't have the initial investment of $500. He will take installment payments until you reach the predetermined amount that you would like to invest, and as soon as you hit that mark, he will completely run Trivita for you, basically creating a truly passive money making system.
The minimum monthly dues to associate with Trivita is $100/month. If you were to jump into this on your own, in 5 months time your total investment would be $500 which is equal to the minimum that Karl is requiring to get started. So Karl is actually fronting you the membership fees after 5 months is up, AND giving you a money back guarantee if you do not TRIPLE your money back within 12 months, and that is conservative due to the fact you will also be receiving regular payments from Trivita also.
I am approaching this as a no-brainer and will activate this thing tomorrow, I hope anyone reading this will see what a truly gracious gift this is to the members of RIOY and jump on board!!

I hope its OK that I do this but I'm going to post the number for the weekly conference calls in case anyone is interested.
These changes are huge so I have a feeling some people will be very interested especially given the fact that the RIOY admin will be giving you your downline in Tri-Vita.
The number is 641-715-3300 and pin is 1017393#. The calls are on Tuesday nights at 8 and 11 eastern.
Take care,
Laura
